The tiny clues that uncover huge trends
I have always been taught the importance of big data. I also genuinely believe that big data is incredibly important for things like deep learning, stitch fix self-designed clothing, drones, managing logistics with big data, mining fake data, voice assistants, and so on.
After reading this book, I realized that small data is also so important.

Maslow's need for self-expression.
Although I have bought refrigerator stickers sometimes, like when I was in Taiwan, I really just didn't know what to buy, so I just bought whatever. I didn't realize that the fridge stickers represented what subconsciously I wanted.
Then the author mentioned his experience designing a shopping mall in Saudi Arabia. The mall was once sparsely populated, and the managers hoped that the newly designed mall would change that.
Business can be a way to make a difference in the lives of everyday people.
Himalayan Audio Interpretation
The author of this chapter describes how observation can bring a sparsely populated supermarket back to life and attract customers again.
So it is important to give people a different feeling, so that people have a sense of freshness, can be found in this supermarket to escape a different feeling? But how to give customers a different feeling is quite difficult, did not find the real needs of customers will do the opposite.
So do not want to live in the United States, where to go have to drive so long.
That said, I never expected my original supermarket employees to have any input into such a simple, temporary job. It's not just organizing goods. That said, I think all the service work that is not very simple, the counterkeeper is also, not just to fool customers to buy it. But after watching the video commenting on Lee Jiaqi, I realized that, uh, it turns out that a teller or teller brother can earn hundreds of millions of dollars if they do a great job. Although such people are few and far between, but still full of possibilities.
Back to Lowes supermarket, it's because the employees don't have much passion and responsibility, so the supermarket looks even more uninspiring, and if Walmart is cleaner and cheaper, it's clear that they'll be more inclined to go to Walmart.
I really haven't noticed these conventions before. Formalities are still needed. And it's also important to think about why we need these forms.
In my ignorance, I was more casual about holding people's hands, but now I've become very concerned about whether or not I'm making physical contact with someone. Fear of people thinking I'm interested in her == Of course it doesn't matter to me if the other person initiates it, and the other person clearly knows that I'm not interested in her. If I did have an interest in the other person, I would be more careful to keep my distance and not have physical contact.
I've also felt political correctness in the company, like gender equality. Hey, the ones who really don't care don't think about these issues. For example, the question of your sexual orientation, if you really do complete equality of sexual orientation, will not care at all and will not ask what your sexual orientation is.
To prove that we are equal instead do something deliberate and show the difference in treatment even more, uh, it's really over the top and it's hard to choose. So presumably this must go through three steps: inequality, making policies that make people realize they shouldn't do that to pay attention to everyone's equality, and finally returning to the point where everyone doesn't go to this differential treatment problem exists.
Disagree, I think there are pros and cons, and it's good if you can rationalize the use of smartphones.
A community is a place where people feel like they belong. Why wouldn't I want to live in Silicon Valley? Why don't I want to live in Silicon Valley, where the so-called boredom is the lack of a sense of belonging? There isn't even a place where I can go shopping? Do I have to drive to a place that looks like a dump to get together for dinner? For example, the Balmain where I live now still kind of feels like a neighborhood to me? At least I know if I shop I'm going to go to that main street and what's there is familiar to me. There's no conflict or disagreement as the author says, but I actually probably know that the pharmacy is owned by a Chinese-looking guy, the pharmacist prescribes me medication that's kinda useful, and he cares about my proximity. The acupuncture place was Chinese, although everything is closed now. Yes, community is important, but community doesn't just come with conflict and disagreement. I don't just live in cyberspace either.
It seems kind of sad that such a housewife's Japan doesn't have its own hobbies and space.
But I don't think most people are that miserable. At least the vast majority of people I know who are raising children in the US have jobs of their own. A lot of those women I read also have successful careers. Huh, realized that I'm really defining someone by their career, and if she didn't leave anything behind in the world, I don't feel good about it, eh.
To put it bluntly, it's boring and uninspiring.
I probably didn't get bored even though the only walking distance on the days I stayed at home was upstairs and downstairs. It's just looking at the bright sunshine outside and lamenting the fact that I can't go look for Pippi (although there's no point in doing so). The rest is still very full, otherwise I do not have so much time to write so many readings, and to record Himalayan audio.
Although I still open rela to brush up on whether anyone cares about me, am I bored then? Yeah, if I'm not bored, then why am I opening up RELA to brush up? I'm certainly not looking for someone to bullshit and chat with, what's the point at this point in time.
Because the brush rela not use the brain to look at the attachment eye-catching people? But it's actually a waste of time. Is it because I need a meaningless thing to do? Such as writing readings or something still heavier? Reading Twitter and today's headlines is also heavier? And to think about what these things mean to me? Or am I just happier living in a world of self.
Cell phones give me an escape? Brush rela gives me a world to fantasize about? Let me fantasize about what it would be like if I had a partner? Why I started to reflect on why I swipe rela. Uh-huh. But I also know that if I have a partner and they don't continue to refresh me, I'll get bored.
What are we looking for in life? Is routine really so undesirable? Is freshness really so important?
Yes, freshness is important to me.
But the author of this chapter just goes on and on about the need for a sense of community and giving Americans supermarkets that create a sense of community.
That said, I've been to so many supermarkets in Sydney, do any of them give me a sense of community?NO.
coles, wws needless to say are all the same, but they're really more neat and organized than your average hwacho. Although hws is obviously a lot more well stocked. Hey, it's who you go to the supermarket with that counts -- but if you go to that supermarket with someone every time, it gets boring too. People are complicated creatures.
world square and WY used to go together all the time, and it was totally uninspiring LOL
The redesign of supermarkets is also an art. Now the recent wws gives me the same old feeling but I've gotten used to it.
Still don't think what the author did above makes it more freeing?
Himalayan Audio Interpretation
This chapter was interesting in the way the author analyzed the characteristics of Indian culture! The author describes each step to find a solution in exceptional detail, which is what makes his writing so appealing.
The average reader of this text will be prejudiced against India. I didn't find the air that bad when I went to India. The author's portrayal is too graphic and vivid!
Still don't think India is that bad LOL Still want to go there again sometime.
Would love to go and spectate an Indian wedding. Probably I am just holding on to the novelty of the experience.
Again the author portrays it a bit exaggerated depending on where you are. In smaller cities like Varanasi, if you go far enough out of the way, there will still be roads for one. Hey, if only VLOG had been available back then, I would have been able to probably remember what it was like to travel back then. Now there's nothing but a few pictures, except for the train being super late, being helpless on the train with no food and no seat, and being in a women's compartment where the Indian women looked at me as too pathetic to give me food (I'm so pathetic, haha). Then finally arrived at Agra, see the Taj Mahal that moment of shock crying memories.
Although Varanasi is very dirty, still like Varanasi the most.
Don't know how it is now.
Liking people or things is determined by moments. Love at first sight too.
I never belonged.
Is it because of this obese I will not have thin friends, hahaha. I'm actually not that fat am I lol In order to motivate myself, I uploaded my fattest photos on KEEP visible only to myself to motivate myself to lose weight.
Average weight 75kg! At least the ones I saw in Dubai weren't fat? And royalty would be under pressure to stay fit? Obesity is easily reflected on the face, so I feel like they still care a bit?
Ignorance is scary. Like the idea of moving all the factories out of China.
Uh, I seem to be the same way. Constantly switching around to try new diets. I know that the most important thing is to stick to the diet and eat less + exercise. But it's really super slow, and I don't have the patience for it.
Overweight people in the public **** occasions eat very little - this is talking about me. A number of times I've been told by Pippi that you eat so little. Uh, just because that point in time is not my meal time, I eat quite a lot? Otherwise I wouldn't still be so fat LOL
Lately, when I'm dead at home, my breakfast time becomes 6 or 7 (depending on whether I wake up at 6 or 7), lunch is around 12, and dinner can be bullishly turned into 2 == like today. But it's also because I eat a lot at lunch. I really ate a lot at lunch! Otherwise I could definitely lose weight. I don't eat much at lunch and I'm not hungry at night. I'm not hungry at night. So the focus is still eat less + insist.
I just realized that the original McDonald's is the meaning of this ah!
So the authors came up with a very complicated solution to the blandness of the Happy Meal problem, which looked healthy and interesting, but in the end was not implemented.
I went to 9News
specifically to find today's Gemini horoscope results:
Totally uninteresting to read. I don't believe in it at all. But it seems like I can understand the author's statement that reading astrological charts can control a chaotic world, and in turn control the self. Because there seems to be a sense of ritual in it, of knowing what I should value today and how I should act. (Though I think it's just crap). Why look at an astrological chart when you have a long term goal to work towards.
But when it comes to gym membership, there's not as strong a sense of ritual and belonging. After all, I now adhere to the fitness also feel every week to lose half a pound completely without motivation ah! If it were not for the fact that I really don't have much to eat every day, and I'm too lazy to cook, or I certainly wouldn't be eating just that much.
As a person who almost never carries jewelry. Except for the occasional desire for a ring to prove I'm not single (turns out I have that need too! Jewelry as a symbol). It seems to understand the idea of people with jewelry, such as those who always wear LV, Channel necklaces. When I saw liziqi, see her simple dress, realize that I think I do not understand jewelry luxury think I am ignorant of how naive this idea (but also because when I want to chase someone I think she is everything is very beautiful - - and then I will become super lack of self-confidence). In fact, I don't have to be like that at all, jewelry is just something outside of the body. People with real confidence like liziqi rely on their substance to support themselves. Suddenly, I seem to like Li Ziqi a little bit. A few days ago, I also said that compared to Li Ziqi I preferred ten sound, watched a few Li Ziqi's interview, I found that Li Ziqi's video is more material.
Those who find a sense of belonging in jewelry and luxury goods are not strong enough inside? But there aren't many people who are strong inside in the first place?
The green script refers to the emotional script. The blue script is the rational script.
It's amazing how a string of beads can have such an awesome effect.
Gives new meaning to the beads, people seem to find new value in the beads, a sense of belonging?
Is it this escalator? There are 12 floors? It doesn't look like it? Or the escalator in the Russian subway impressed me. It's really deep, and it feels like it's designed to the level of a bomb shelter.
When I went to India alone, others were more shocked to hear that. Maybe there are times when these cautions are right, like going to Mexico where some places are still more dangerous? After all, you can't risk your life.
Kirin == Kirin. Every brewer wants to make their beer synonymous with fashion. It's really a complex issue. The awesome thing about the author is that he did it.
Is it really that hard to cross over? For example, if you become a soccer star, you can't cross it? (It's hard, though.) If each class has a certain type of food, then if I dress like the last class of food is that class? No, right? Or does your social circle determine which class you are?
But hair and facial features can be faked? That said, I don't know if you can tell which class I am even by looking at me, hahahaha. But if it's hair and facial features, I can go for both right.
So it's even more restricted for Chinese children?
Heineken or a status symbol?
Is it the same mentality as the luxury buyer, a sign of less self confidence? The need to show one's status through external substances.
Chit chat is pretty much the same unless there is a ****ing hobby or a hot topic of the day or something special in the environment.
But in the end, it's the ****ing interest that makes the conversation more sustainable and interesting.
Netflix's profit model. Create conversation.
Everyone's need to attract attention.
Brazilians definitely want to attract the attention of others as well, but how they want to present themselves to attract the attention of others is the deeper question.
The author is more specific in giving
Hong Kong people also want to be more attractive to others, through polo, the type of drinks they drink, the brands of Italian clothing they wear.
But your expectations of this foreign country may be based on imagination.
If a piece of clothing represents a dream, how can it be out of date? And fashion just goes out of style.
