Recently, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling for Employees in 20021year, which made arrangements for the heatstroke prevention and cooling for employees. Notice on Doing a Good Job in Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling for Employees 202 1 requires trade unions at all levels to urge employers to implement the main responsibility of heatstroke prevention and cooling. On behalf of the workers, they shall negotiate with the employer on an equal footing on hot work and labor protection in hot weather, and sign a collective contract or special collective contract for hot work and labor protection in hot weather. At the same time, it is necessary to urge employers to improve production technology and operation flow, improve working conditions and working environment, reasonably arrange working hours, reduce labor intensity at high temperature, organize health checkups, ensure the physical and mental health of workers, provide necessary personal protective equipment and rest places for workers working at high temperature, and pay workers high temperature subsidies according to regulations.
Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Henan, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Shandong, Gansu, Hubei, Ningxia, Guizhou and other provinces began to issue high-temperature subsidies in June. However, due to different climatic conditions, the time for issuing high-temperature subsidies in different provinces is also different, and the time for issuing subsidies is determined according to local conditions. Hainan began to distribute in April, and Hunan and Liaoning began to distribute in July. Shanghai, Guangdong and Jiangsu have higher standards for granting high-temperature subsidies. The standard is 8- 18 yuan in 300 yuan, Henan, Yunnan, Hainan, Jilin, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Anhui, Ningxia, Chongqing and Shaanxi. The time limit for granting high-temperature subsidies mainly depends on local differences, and the granting of high-temperature subsidies is based on local natural climate conditions.
According to the "Measures for the Management of Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling", the standards for granting high-temperature subsidies were clarified. If a company or enterprise arranges laborers to engage in outdoor work with high temperature above 35 degrees Celsius and fails to take measures to reduce the workplace temperature below 33 degrees Celsius, the employer will give them high-temperature subsidies, which will be included in the total wages. Employees who can receive high temperature subsidies must include construction workers, bus drivers without air conditioning, and outdoor sanitation workers. When applying for high temperature subsidies, you only need to provide relevant work certificates to get them.
