Why can't mobile phones send and receive text messages and make phone calls?
If you are using a Huawei mobile phone and the mobile phone cannot send SMS, you can send it in the following ways:

1. "Enhanced information" cannot be sent.

If "enhanced information" is displayed in the SMS edit box, it means that the mobile phone is sending a short message with enhanced information, which can be handled by the following methods:

1. Please turn off and turn on the enhanced message switch (SMS >;) again; Three-point button > Settings > Enhanced Information).

2. If you need to contact the other party urgently, I suggest you turn off the enhanced information function first and send the information by ordinary SMS, so that you can contact the other party in time.

Second, some short messages can't be sent.

For example, send short messages to operators (China Mobile/KOOC-0/0086, China Telecom/KOOC-0/0000, China Unicom/KOOC-0/00/0). If the short message is sent successfully, it means that some short messages cannot be sent.

1. If the short message contains sensitive words, the other party cannot receive it after sending it.

Please use test sentences to send short messages to confirm whether they can be received normally, such as hello, thank you, goodbye, etc. If you can receive it normally, it means that the short message you sent before may contain sensitive words, so I suggest you avoid sending sensitive words.

Please confirm whether the fixed dialing service has been started.

When fixed dialing is turned on, you can only send information to the contacts in the fixed dialing list, but not to other numbers. If you want to continue sending, please cancel the fixed dialing service.

You can go to the settings in the upper right corner of the dial-up or telephone, and click Card 1 above under Card 2 > Fixed Dialing > Turn off Fixed Dialing (you need to consult the operator for the PIN2 code required during the turn-off process).

3. If it is a mass message, please confirm whether the screen is closed during sending. It is suggested that when you send short messages in groups, the screen of your mobile phone is on or always charged.

4. If you can't send short messages to short numbers (e.g. 1066), please go to Settings, search the permission of paid SMS, and click Enter to find information. It is suggested to set it as inquiry.

Third, all short messages can't be sent.

1. If your mobile phone is currently using a 5G network, I suggest you pull down the quick switch panel and turn off the 5G switch and try again.

2. Third-party SMS may have compatibility problems. Please check whether you use a third-party SMS application. Check method: Please enter Settings, search to enter the default application, and check whether the application selected in the information is a tripartite SMS application. If yes, please set the system default information as the system default.

You can switch the flight mode, re-trigger the network and try again.

4. (1) Please click in Info >; Three o'clock > Settings > Advanced > Set the correct SMS center number in the SMS center (there is no SMS center for telecom cards). If you don't know the SMS center number, please contact the operator to get the SMS center number and set it.

(2) If the confirmation number is correct, but the setting fails, it is recommended that you set a SIM card on another mobile phone. If the setting still fails, it may be a SIM card problem. It is recommended that you bring your valid certificate to the operator's business hall to replace your SIM card.

7. Please insert the SIM card into another mobile phone for investigation. If other mobile phones can't be sent, I suggest you consult the operator.

4. If the above troubleshooting fails to solve your problem, it is recommended that you clean up and restore the data.

1. Restore the information to the default settings.

2. The enhanced information is logged in for the first time, and the content of the received information has nothing to do with the enhanced information service.

There are still some defects in the background information push function of enhanced information, so after the first login of enhanced information, the information pushed by China Mobile is wrong. You can call 10086 to check the correctness of the push information.

3. Enhance information message display garbled code

(1) Enhanced information not supported by the receiver's mobile phone.

Warm reminder: If the text content is sent, it will be sent to the receiver by SMS; If you send a picture, a link will be sent to the recipient.

(2) Some message types (such as cards and public accounts) forwarding enhanced information will display garbled codes on the mobile phone. Due to the lack of the function of China Mobile Enhanced Information Server, the message you received is garbled. You can call 10086 to check the message garbled.

4. Increase information costs

The sender sends a message through enhanced information (enhanced information status: the background color of the sent information is blue). If the receiver is not in the enhanced information login state, the server will send a message to the receiver in the form of ordinary short message. This situation may result in expenses. Please call the operator's customer service hotline for details.

Warm reminder: To confirm whether the message is enhanced, you can check it through the information details. Steps to view information details: enter the information dialogue interface, press and hold the message to be confirmed > select more > more > view information details in the pop-up menu, and view the type in the information type. The type of enhanced information is chat information, and the other types are ordinary short multimedia messages.

If the message type that cannot be received is "General Message", please continue to check.

Second, some short messages can't be received.

For example, after sending short messages to operators (China Mobile/KOOC-0/0086, China Telecom/KOOC-0/0000, China Unicom/KOOC-0/00), can you successfully receive a reply? If there are, it means that some short messages can't be received by mobile phones.

1. Please check whether the number is saved in the privacy space.

Please check if you just can't get the text message from Apple's mobile phone.

If you just can't receive the SMS from Apple's mobile phone, you can receive the messages from other mobile phones. It may be because your mobile phone number was bound to an Apple device before, and the other party sent you an iMessage instead of an ordinary SMS. Maybe the other party has blacklisted your number. I suggest you try to contact the other party in other ways, and you can dial normally after removing the blacklist.

(2) The short number cannot be dialed, and the prompt number does not exist.

It may be that the cornet is beyond the specified use area. The cornet is for local use only. If the cornet cannot be used outside the designated area, it is recommended to dial ordinary 1 1 digits.

2. You can't make a phone call unless it's a specific scene.

(1) Please confirm that the mobile phone card signal is normal.

When the status bar of the mobile phone shows emergency call only or "×" symbol, it will lead to the inability to make a call.

Warm reminder: If the mobile phone card signal is normal, you can't make a call, and you will be prompted that the number is empty or turned off. Generally, it is a network problem of local operators. I suggest you contact the local operator.

(2) Please ensure that call barring business is not opened.

Some operators' calling cards have call barring service. If your calling card restricts outgoing calls, some or all calls will be restricted. Please consult the operator's customer service for details.

(3) Please enable the VoLTE function.

It is possible that the 2/3G call network environment in your location is not good, so I suggest you try to turn on the VoLTE function. When the VoLTE function is turned on, the HD icon will be displayed in the signal bar.

If your mobile phone card doesn't have the VoLTE function, or your mobile phone doesn't support the operator's VoLTE function, please pay attention to whether the status bar of your mobile phone can be switched to 2G or 3G normally when dialing. If you can't switch, it may be caused by insufficient coverage of 2G/3G networks in this area. I suggest you try calling from another place.

(4) Please restore the network settings.

It is recommended that you search in Settings to restore network settings and try to restore network settings.

Tips: Restoring the network settings will delete the WLAN and Bluetooth connection records, and you need to enter the screen lock password for verification.
