Zhang Fengyi, a playwright of Ming Dynasty, presented the poem "Deyuelou" with the following words: "The seven-mile long embankment is painted with screens, and the balcony is vaguely covered with wicker, and the mountain men sit in different places. The songs of water tune are heard intermittently, and the flowers are flying across the bank, and the passenger ship stops at Mengu Liquor. I often get drunk as a mountain man when I come here, but I don't want to wake up when I lie down." Yefangbang, commonly known as Yefangbang, is located between Bantang Bridge and Puji Bridge, facing Tiger Hill across the river, with beautiful scenery. "The Story of Ren Xinzhai" says: "Wu people often visit the tiger port, and every time they park their boats in the mountain pond for fun, they don't have to climb mountains, but enjoy the summer in the spring, and Wu Niang's boaters gather at the mouth of the wild Fang Bang." There is a poem that says, "If you find a berth in the depths of a hundred flowers, you will be fascinated only in Yefangbang".
The "Deyuelou" was restored on April 25th, 1982, and moved to Eunuch Lane, the bustling center of Suzhou. The whole building is decorated with white tiles, the cornices are upturned, simple and elegant, and the cornices are in the middle. The word "Deyuelou" was written by Song Richang, the former chairman of the Shanghai Calligraphy Association. A flying dragon is molded on both sides of the building, and the lace cornices on the back of the building are exquisite and free and easy, graceful and handsome. There is a semi-pavilion on the front wall, and a pair of colorful unicorns are hung upside down under the eaves of the semi-pavilion. The storefront is a water-ground brick octagonal portal, with red lacquer and copper rings. About it, a famous calligrapher in Suzhou, Fei Xinwo, wrote an inscription for the door couplet, "The famous chef in Wudi is far away and near Yue, and the jade in Qionglou is drunk with the moon and flies." In the doorway, two white marble lions sit next to each other, and the top of the doorway is painted with a moon-shaped color picture of dragons and phoenixes. The interior decoration of the building is separated by the ground cover, leaky window, antique shelf and floor-to-ceiling window, which is one step at a time and dense in the sparse, and you can appreciate the style of Suzhou classical gardens. The whole building was rated as one of the top ten buildings in Suzhou in 1986, and it was made into a commemorative spark picture of "Suzhou was built in 2511 years".
