Sports dance, also known as "international standard dance", is transformed from ballroom dancing. It is a sports event with a high degree of combination of sports and art, and a duet competition with men and women as partners. Next, I will organize the video teaching of ballroom dancing for you. Welcome to watch.

International standard social dance, no matter what kind of dance, no matter how complicated, is "walked" step by step. And every step includes speed, distance and direction. We summarize it as "international standard ballroom dancing pace, international standard ballroom dancing pace, international standard ballroom dancing step direction". This is what we call: three elements of international standard ballroom dancing footwork.

1, speed

This refers to the speed of walking, which is an element of the concept of time in international standard ballroom dancing steps. The steps of international standard ballroom dancing include routine step, trot, slow step, super trot, extended step and "static" step.

Trot-Trot is a faster pace than normal pace. Generally speaking, the conventional pace takes a period of time, which we call "conventional pace", and the trot is 1/2 conventional pace.

Walking slowly-walking slowly is a slower pace than normal walking. Generally speaking, normal walking is 1 and slow walking is 1+ 1.

Super trot-based on the standard of normal stride, this is still a faster pace than trot. An ultra-trot only needs 1/4 constant steps, or even less.

Extended step-this is a special step, neither a constant step nor a slow step. Usually, it is a little longer than the normal step size, about 1.5 step hour. In particular, the extended 0.5-step time is "scraped" from the previous routine step time or from the later routine step time. That is to say, as long as there is an extended step, it will be an incomplete constant step before or after it. We don't use 1.5+o.5 to explain the extension step, because when the extension step is not 1.5, the length of the extension step depends entirely on the specific situation. The formula is: expansion step+incomplete constant step =2 standard constant steps. Under normal circumstances, if you lengthen it with a slow step, the dance steps will be too heavy, so the lengthened dance steps are usually constant steps.

"Static" step-this is also a special processing step. In international standard ballroom dancing, there is no absolute stillness, only relative stillness. The so-called "the tree wants to be quiet but the wind will not stop" seems to be motionless but feels moving. This international standard ballroom dance usually requires 2 ~ 3 routine steps. It needs to be clarified that "static" step and modeling are not the same thing.

Different kinds of international standard ballroom dancing have different basic footwork and combination of steps. Generally divided into two categories.

One category is the average pace category: for example, slow three step, Fast Three Steps, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Nanjing Mini Dance, Beijing Pingsi Dance and so on. This kind of dance has a fast rhythm. The characteristic is that one step takes one beat of the dance music. Of course, this step refers to the routine step in this international standard social dance music. On the whole, the pace of international standard ballroom dancing is average.

One is fast-paced and slow-paced: the basic combination of footwork of this dance is composed of quick steps and regular steps or regular steps and slow steps; Some dances even consist of three rhythms: fast rhythm, regular rhythm and slow rhythm. For example, four steps in the middle, four steps in the slow, Latin rumba, Oriental rumba and so on. , are the basic combination of two steps; Dayu tap dance, tango and foxtrot take three or more steps as the basic gait form. In short, the pace of this international standard ballroom dance is fast and slow, not ordinary, as far as the overall approach is concerned.

2. Step distance

This is a linear measurement element in the concept of dance space, which refers to the distance between feet (the distance between the support points of feet) at the moment of each step positioning in international standard ballroom dancing. The steps of international standard ballroom dancing are generally divided into one step, half step, super step, broken step and standing step.

One step of international standard ballroom dancing-Based on the average body constant of China people, the usual step is that the distance between feet is 75cm. Therefore, the step distance of international standard ballroom dancing steps is 75 cm.

International standard ballroom dancing half step-if the distance between feet is less than 40 cm, we call it half step.

International standard ballroom dancing is a super step-if the distance between two feet exceeds 75 cm, we call it a super step.

The international standard ballroom dancing step-the step that the distance between two feet is less than 40 cm and the routine step breaks quickly, we call it the broken step.

The international standard ballroom dance step-the step of two feet together, we call it step.

The size of the dance steps, first, reflects whether each dance step is in place, full and appropriate; Second, it is related to the display quality of the front and back dance steps; Third, it is related to the cooperation effect between partners. Under normal circumstances, when the rotation changes direction at a large angle, the step distance will be relatively reduced. This common sense should be recited frequently, and it is best to become a subconscious skill. International standard ballroom dancing is a kind of dance art, not a mechanical process. The above data are all reference standards. In the practice of international standard ballroom dancing, everyone must treat it according to the specific situation.

3. Step direction

This is an element of arc measurement in the concept of space in dance steps. He refers to the changing direction of feet in ballroom dancing. Usually the toe, heel, inner foot and outer foot are used as reference points to change the foot shape. Whether the foot direction is correct or not directly affects the quality of ballroom dancing. Especially when rotating at a large angle, the correct direction of foot type is the key factor for the rotation angle to be in place. The commonly used foot directions are straight step, horizontal step, cut step and buckle step.

International standard ballroom dancing straight step-facing the dance line, feet together, right in front of the toes and right in front of the heels. Keeping your feet forward or backward is straight forward or straight backward.

The cross step of international standard ballroom dancing-the step moving to the outside of the foot with the straight step as the reference point is called the cross step. There is a left step and a right step.

Interception of international standard ballroom dancing-when moving forward with the straight step as the reference point, the foot shape of the action leg changes from the straight step to the step with the inner sole facing the forward direction, which is called interception. Generally, the angle of foot shape change is 90 degrees, and there are also two cutting steps.

International standard ballroom dancing buckle step-when moving forward or backward based on the straight step, the foot shape of the action leg changes from the straight step to the step with the outside of the foot facing forward, which is called buckle step. Generally, the angle of foot shape change is also 90 degrees, and there are two kinds of buckle steps.

There are many subtle details about the foot shape change of international standard ballroom dancing. Every point of 180 degree has its specific foot direction, but it basically belongs to the above four foot directions, so I won't elaborate here.

International standard ballroom dancing is a kind of dance that enjoys elegance and popularity, and the whole people participate. According to the characteristics of dance schools, international standard ballroom dancing has no difficult steps. Whether you learn to dance or dance, you only need to consider the three elements of this footwork, and no matter how difficult the dance steps are, they will not be difficult. The posture and technique of international standard ballroom dancing can also refer to these three elements.
