The heated kang is a kind of sleeping and lying facility in China. It was popular in the northwest plateau, the Central Plains, the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, North China, Northeast China and other northern regions in ancient times, and it used fire as the heat source.
The heating system of Kang consists of three parts:
1, heat source furnace.
The heat sources of kang are firewood (dry plants) and coal, which are used as cooking stoves for daily catering.
2, heating and cooling the kang.
It is a heating and sleeping platform with thermal effect, which is circularly arranged by flue gas built in the kang body. The main building materials are adobe, machine-made brick, clay or concrete with balanced adhesion. The key point is that the airflow distribution of fireworks should be even and smooth to keep the smoke stranded.
Schematic diagram of fire-resistant building structure:
3. Smoke chimney.
As a chimney for exhausting smoke from the fire-resistant kang, it is a smoke exhaust device located in the wall at one end of the fire-resistant kang.
Extended data:
Check whether the main air duct is blocked, especially in the throat area leading to the flame arrester.
See if the last exit from the kang to the fire wall is blocked by mud. The stove you build should not be too high, and the flue should not exceed too much. At the bottom of the smoke outlet of the firewall, you should build a gradual slope with two bricks, which is beneficial to the upward wind.
Generally, there are large stoves in rural areas, and the stove mouth is open after burning fire or coal in winter. Make an oven door with iron sheet and block it at the oven door to prevent air circulation. Then the hot air on the kang will not go out of the chimney soon. Although it is not tight, it is still very useful.
If you just burn the stove, or the big stove has no heat, block the oven door with a big plastic bag filled with useless plastic or something. According to this method, you can not only be comfortable, but also save fuel and reduce environmental pollution.
