On September 27, 2018, Meituan Dianping released its 2018 semiannual report, as of June 30, 2018, Meituan's transaction amount reached RMB 231.9 billion, up 55.6% year-on-year, and its operating income increased by 91.2% compared to the same period of 2017, which is a doubling growth. [40]

The financial report shows that for the whole year of 2018, Meituan realized operating revenue of 65.23 billion yuan, an increase of 92.3% over the same period last year. Meituan Dianping's fourth-quarter revenue was 19.803 billion yuan, up 89% year-on-year, compared with the market estimate of 19.39 billion yuan; the adjusted net loss was 1.862 billion yuan, compared with the adjusted net loss of 1.385 billion yuan in the same period of the previous year. In May 2019, Meituan Dianping released its first quarter 2019 financial report, which showed first quarter revenue of RMB 19.2 billion, compared to the market estimate of RMB 18.25 billion; and an operating loss of RMB 1.303 billion for the quarter. [43]
In August 2020, Meituan-Dianping released its financial report for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020, as well as its first half-year results report to the public. For the interim period ended June 30, 2020, Meituan achieved revenue of RMB 41.476 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1%, and adjusted net profit of RMB 2.502 billion, compared to RMB 444 million for the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 463.0%. Revenue for the second quarter was RMB 24.722 billion, compared to RMB 22.703 billion in the same period last year, an increase of 8.9% year-on-year, and higher than the market's expectation of RMB 23.386 billion; the company realized a profit of RMB 2.210 billion for the period, an increase of 152.4% year-on-year.
