On February 65438+2, 2008, the the State Council executive meeting decided on the phased relief policy. These three exemptions are to reduce the impact of sexual relations on enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. It is universal and does not require any application.
The work of phased relief is done by the social security department. According to the national regulations, the enterprise part of the above three social insurance premiums of small and medium-sized enterprises can be reduced or exempted from February to June, and the State Council clearly includes the overall part paid by individual industrial and commercial households with employees. For large enterprises, social insurance premiums can be halved from February to April.
Legal basis: Article 23 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), employees shall participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and both employers and employees shall pay the basic medical insurance premium according to the provisions of the state. Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic medical insurance for employees and other flexible employees can participate in the basic medical insurance for employees, and individuals pay the basic medical insurance premium in accordance with state regulations.
