Ash-throwing New Year pictures
Gaomi Puhui New Year pictures originated in Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty, and are a kind of hand-painted New Year pictures, which are mainly distributed in more than 30 villages such as Jiangzhuang and xia zhuang in Gaomi North Township. The early ash-throwing New Year pictures were mainly ink and wash, which gradually developed from Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty to replacing ink with color and tended to be gorgeous.
Artists call it "painting" because of its large strokes, free flow and smearing taste. Most of the content is festive, which is very suitable for folk festivals. Gossip of Sister-in-law, Shuttlecock Kicking, All the Best, Prosperity and Peace, Birthday of Eight Immortals, Cowherd and Weaver Girl, Beauty of the Tuanfan, Flower Screen of Four Seasons and Family Hall are all representative works of New Year pictures.
In the middle of Qing Dynasty, the works were sold to Yantai, Linyi, Xuzhou, Inner Mongolia, Northeast China and other places. paper cutting
Gaomi folk paper-cut has a long history and its origin is difficult to test. From the excavation of folk paper-cut works to the wide spread and popularization of Gaomi, it is no later than the rise of ash-throwing New Year pictures. In the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, a large number of immigrants moved to Gaomi, among which many folk paper-cut artists brought different styles of paper-cut art to Gaomi and merged them into one, forming Gaomi folk paper-cut art style.
Gaomi folk paper-cut uses the technique of unity of opposites in art, and blocks and lines form three tones of black, white and gray, which are in contrast and full of rhythm. The lines are strong and straight, with a golden stone flavor; The composition is exaggerated and distorted without distortion; See delicacy in roughness, and hide delicacy in childishness. Gaomi folk paper-cut has a wide range of materials, rich content, strong flavor of life and people's good wishes.
Paper-cut works such as "window flowers", "shoe flowers", "ceiling flowers" and "steamed bread flowers" with figures, animals, flowers and birds and stories as themes are deeply loved by the masses. Since the reform and opening up, Gaomi folk paper-cut has gone global, not only as a gift for overseas people, but also on display abroad for many times. Twenty works won prizes in the national paper-cutting competition, and three paper-cutting girls went to Japan and Austria with the delegation to perform paper-cutting performances, which were known as "women's magic scissors".
Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Pictures in Hanting District Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Pictures was founded in the Ming Dynasty and reached maturity in the late Ming Dynasty. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, they reached their peak. At this time, together with Tianjin Yangliuqing and Suzhou Taohuawu, it is called the three major woodblock New Year pictures markets in China.
Yangjiabu village presents a situation of "a hundred painting shops, a thousand paintings" and "every family can dye and every household is good at painting". With the changes of the times, Yangjiabu woodblock New Year pictures have declined several times. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, in order to save this folk art and reproduce its former glory, the Yangjiabu Woodblock New Year Picture Research Institute was established in Hanting District, and the excavation, research and innovation started again.
After more than ten years' efforts, we have collected 5000 editions of traditional painting data sets. At the same time, it also developed and innovated 30-year-old picture products such as album pages, New Year picture calendars and New Year cards, and innovated 50 new New Year pictures. With the deepening of reform and opening up and the convening of Weifang International Kite Festival, Yangjiabu woodblock New Year pictures have attracted more and more attention from the world, which will certainly play a greater role in promoting the opening up of Hanting Pavilion.
