Today, this student volunteer fire brigade directly under the school security department was established in 1989, but its predecessor, the volunteer fire brigade jointly established by faculty and students, has basically taken shape as early as 1980 to 1982, and began to make its own contribution to the school's fire safety work. This volunteer fire brigade is the embryonic form of today's student volunteer fire brigade, and it can also be said that it is the germination of this student volunteer fire brigade at present. At that time, the surrounding environment of the school (now the old district) was complex, and the fire-fighting hardware facilities were relatively backward, which caused several fires with great influence. Although all of them have been controlled in time, causing no significant loss of personnel and property, it has posed a very serious challenge to the fire safety of the school. It is in this context that this voluntary fire brigade jointly organized by teachers and students came into being and was formally established under the leadership of Zhang Mingde, who was in charge of school safety at that time. At that time, the establishment of the school compulsory fire department had a very good organizational foundation. At that time, the teachers and students of the school and the nearby people had a high awareness of fire prevention and strong initiative in fire fighting, which provided a sufficient and good personnel base for the establishment of the school's voluntary fire department. At the beginning of the establishment of the volunteer fire brigade, 1982 had more than 30 teachers and students, who were responsible for publicizing the fire safety work of the whole school and reporting problems in time. At that time, when the fire broke out, the voluntary fire department mainly played the following three roles: publicizing fire prevention, fire alarm and fighting. At that time, the security department did not position the obligatory fire brigade as a professional fire brigade, but only assisted the professional fire brigade and the school security department (then the security department) to do a good job in fire prevention and extinguishing. Every year, the voluntary fire department will hold regular commendation meetings to sum up the work of the past year, praise the advanced individuals in fire control work, and also play a general mobilization role for the new work of that year. Every year, school leaders and teachers will invite relevant personnel of Nanchong Public Security Fire Department to conduct relevant fire knowledge training for volunteer firefighters. The training is conducted by combining theory with practice. Firefighters should not only talk about theoretical knowledge, but also guide the voluntary fire department to actually put out the fire. (2), 1989- 1998
With the continuous expansion of the school scale and the increasing number of students, due to the needs of the actual situation, during the two years from 1988 to 1989, the voluntary fire department ushered in a new transformation. Teacher Zhou Yongbin, the staff of the school security department, formally submitted a written application to the security department according to the actual situation at that time and the needs of the school's fire safety work, and organized the establishment of a voluntary fire brigade composed entirely of students. After discussion and consultation, the department leaders finally agreed to this application and handed over the work of setting up a student volunteer fire brigade to Mr. Zhou Yongbin. As for the student volunteer fire brigade, this is the first experimental project in China. Teacher Zhang Mingde's article "The Position, Function and Organization of Volunteer Fire Brigade in Colleges and Universities" was published in People's Public Security, which was highly praised by experts related to security work, and provided sufficient theoretical support and public opinion support for the development of student volunteer fire brigade later.
The establishment ceremony of the student volunteer fire brigade was held in front of the auditorium of the old administrative office. On the day of its establishment, the auditorium of the administrative office was grand and warm. Under the witness of relevant leaders and many students in the whole school, the student volunteer fire brigade of China West Normal University was formally established.
At the beginning of the establishment of the team, the security department gave an accurate positioning: the team is a propaganda team, not a full-time fire brigade. The student volunteer fire brigade basically continued the work and tasks of its predecessor volunteer fire brigade. It mainly has two tasks: first, propaganda, which spreads fire knowledge and consciousness to the minds of classmates and teachers ideologically; The second is to save yourself in the early stage of the fire to prevent the fire from spreading.
After several years of development, the work form of student volunteer fire brigade has changed greatly. With the organization of student volunteer fire brigade established by various departments starting to work, the work of student volunteer fire brigade has a better organizational strength. Every September, the student volunteer fire brigade will hold this commendation and inaugural meeting. The commendation meeting summed up the gains and losses of the past year's work, announced the establishment of a new team and arranged the work to be carried out in the new year. 1993, because of the change of work, the student volunteer fire brigade ushered in a new leader. Under the leadership of the new security department, the student volunteer fire brigade has made great progress, and the staffing reached its peak in 1995 and 1996, with hundreds of students in a single session and more than 20 student cadres of the volunteer fire brigade. In 2000, the student volunteer fire brigade ushered in a milestone in the development history: the security department decided to provide each member of the student volunteer fire brigade with a set of work uniforms free of charge from that year. Chapter I General Principles

Chapter III Main Work of the Team
Article 8 The student volunteer fire brigade of China West Normal University is a student-centered team engaged in voluntary fire fighting in schools, and it is its due duty to actively participate in maintaining school fire safety.
Article 9 The main tasks of the student volunteer fire brigade are: to carry out fire safety inspection, to carry out fire publicity activities, to train teachers and students in fire fighting skills, to participate in campus emergency rescue and to maintain campus order.
Article 10 Under the guidance of the fire department, all fire control facilities in the school shall be inspected, registered and reported.

Twelfth fire publicity activities are the focus of the fire brigade. (4) Examination
According to the fire-fighting knowledge learned in the training, the examination is conducted to test the physical quality, skills and understanding of fire-fighting work of the participants. If they fail in the exam, they can't take the final exam.
(5) Final test

Article 18 Meeting

Article 19 Obligations
(1) Duty time 19: 30 to 20: 30, and the summer work and rest time is extended by half an hour.
The team members on duty arrive at the duty room on time and must not be late or leave early. Dress neatly on duty and show certificates.

(3) Male players are not allowed to enter the female dormitory for inspection. Under special circumstances, girls should lead the team into the inspection according to the ratio of 1: 3.

Article 20 Ask for leave
It is generally not allowed to ask for leave during working hours. If it is really necessary to ask for leave under special circumstances, a written explanation must be issued and signed by the captain or deputy captain. It is forbidden to ask for leave by SMS. If there is an emergency, you must call the captain or the co-pilot in advance to explain the situation, and make up a note afterwards, which will take effect after being signed by the captain, otherwise it will be regarded as absence without reason.

Chapter VII Fund Management
Article 23 Sources of funds

Article 24 Fund management
