When it comes to flea markets, people often think of daily groceries, worn-out household appliances and clumsy old furniture. In fact, today's flea market is not the same as in the past in terms of scale, operating characteristics and management methods. What about the flea market in the provincial capital? The reporter went to Shijiazhuang Gaozhu flea market, the largest flea market in the provincial capital, to find out.
(a) cheap and good quality goods.
"My $200 color TV looks good," said Jamlom, a migrant worker from Anhui, pointing to the 17-inch universal color TV she just bought. Ms Meng, who works in a foreign company, found an antique bottle here to decorate her desk. Indeed, many people come here to look for gold, wage earners and college students are frequent visitors, and some wage earners with lower incomes also come here to look for treasure.
Meng, director of the market management office, said that as a supplement to the consumer goods market in the provincial capital, the characteristics of the second-hand market, such as large, comprehensive and cheap, were gradually recognized by the public, and more and more people came here. Second-hand color TV sets, refrigerators, air conditioners, VCD players and other large electrical appliances, fax machines, small LCD TVs and other small household appliances have all become best-selling products in the market. In addition, the market also launched used computers and second-hand mobile phones and other transactions, the price is only about 30% of similar new products. Now the sales momentum is good, and the transaction volume increases greatly every month.
(2) New products are also sold here.
The reporter saw in the market that "new products" such as brand-new microwave ovens, air humidifiers and even unopened watercress also entered the flea market.
According to reports, there are generally three channels for new year's goods here: first, brand-new products wholesale by stall owners, mostly color TVs and washing machines of unknown brands. Because of the policy, the sales cost here is relatively low, which is generally 400 yuan cheaper than shopping malls to 500 yuan. Generally, a home theater in a large shopping mall costs several thousand yuan, only 1000 yuan here. Second, citizens deal with redundant items, such as gifts from friends or things they bought before, which they don't need at present. Third, enterprises deal with the products that are pressed into the library.
(3) experts remind:
There is no "three guarantees" for second-hand goods, so be careful when buying them.
Behind the booming flea market, some bad business practices are quietly breeding. For example, if you can hide the goods in question, you can push the door out and refuse to accept the payment. The second-hand color TV set bought by Mr. Zhao who lives in Chang 'an District and the old refrigerator bought by Miss Chen of a public institution have all encountered such problems. They found the store, and the stall owner said that the second-hand goods would not be returned.
So, should the seller return the goods? According to the relevant national laws and regulations, the quality of electrical appliances sold in the flea market cannot be guaranteed, and there is no warranty period. Once there is a problem, you can only pay for maintenance, and you can't ask for a return. Be careful when buying. In addition, manager Qin of the market said that according to the regulations, if products are sold by replacing the backlog, the original use value of the products must be guaranteed, and the after-sales service should be implemented in accordance with the "three guarantees" regulations; If it is a refurbished and assembled product, it must be made clear to consumers, and the warranty period must be indicated on the sales voucher (1 to 3 months).
