What certification is required for food packaging?

packaged food requires the following documents: food circulation license, catering service license, etc. However, if the parties sell edible agricultural products and only sell prepackaged foods, they do not need to obtain permission; Among them, those that only sell in prepackaged foods only need to be put on record according to law.

1. QS certification qualification certificate: namely, food safety and quality certification certificate, which refers to the compulsory certification system implemented by the state for food safety and quality, and mainly certifies the safety of food packaging materials and non-food packaging materials;

2. ISO9111 quality management system certification: refers to a set of international quality certification standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization, which mainly certifies the quality management system of enterprises, mainly to improve the management level and quality level of enterprises;

3. ISO14111 environmental management system certification: refers to a set of international environmental management certification standards issued by the International Organization for Standardization, which mainly certifies the environmental management system of enterprises, mainly to improve the environmental protection awareness and environmental management level of enterprises;

4. Product quality certification certificate: refers to the quality certification of products produced by enterprises to ensure that the quality of products produced by enterprises can meet the requirements of national quality standards;

5. Production license: refers to the license that an enterprise needs to produce related products, which is issued by the relevant state departments and is the basis for the legal production of the enterprise.

Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China Article 35 The state practices a licensing system for food production and operation. Engaged in food production, food sales, catering services, shall obtain a license according to law. However, sales of edible agricultural products and sales only in prepackaged foods do not require permission. Only selling prepackaged foods shall be reported to the food safety supervision and administration department of the local people's government at or above the county level for the record.
