Remember one of my happiest things
Everyone has happy things, and so do I.. Today, I also come up with a happy thing for everyone to share.
It's a very hot summer, and the sun is like a big stove. People have been sunburned and put on sun umbrellas and sunscreen to go out. And we children can only beg our parents to get the coveted dollar, buy a popsicle and solve the summer heat.
one day, I was studying in a drawing class, and it was surprisingly hot that day. It was the day of our exhibition, and several of our students were painting nervously. I was so tired that I was sweating all over the painting. I thought, "Hey, let's buy a popsicle later!"
after lunch, some people and I went to buy popsicles. Just as I finished buying popsicles and walked out of the small shop contentedly, I saw an old woman standing on the street corner, with tattered clothes and dark skin. She had very skinny hands and a face with countless wrinkles. Although she looked at passers-by with a pair of eager eyes, no one paid attention to her, and several people looked at her with contemptuous eyes, and my buddies turned a blind eye.
I'm a little angry, but I can't get angry. I rummaged through my pockets, found the remaining fifty cents, and sent them to her. Her eyes suddenly filled with gratitude, and she kept sending me away with that look.
Maybe my behavior is not understood by some people or laughed at by them, but I think she needs our care and help. Although I lost the opportunity to buy another popsicle, she felt happy because of my help, which made me happy. I've done well in this matter.
