A must-see for a stroll.
"Kuanzhai Lane" is one of the three major historical and cultural protection areas in Chengdu, which is composed of three parallel old-fashioned streets, namely, Kuanxiang, Narrow Alley and Jingxiang, and the quadrangle community between them. It was listed in the Protection Plan of Chengdu Historical and Cultural City in 1981s.
narrow alley: the "slow life" coffee shop and the teahouse along the street in old Chengdu. Sit down, have a cup of tea and coffee, and feel the laziest Chengdu.
jingxiangzi: Chengdu people's "new life" bars, nightclubs and dessert shops have formed new elements of modern fashion.
Chunxi Road
Chunxi Road is a busy commercial street with a long history. It's just as regrettable that foreigners who come to Chengdu don't visit Chunxi Road as they don't go to Wangfujing in Beijing and Nanjing Road in Shanghai. Chunxi Road is not only the fashion center of Chengdu, but also a place where beautiful women look forward to it. It is also a place where delicious snacks gather, such as Zhong dumplings, Lai Tangyuan, husband and wife's lung slices, Korean steamed stuffed buns, dragon wonton soup, and spicy barbecue and string incense on the street. The comparison between the price index and the delicious index will definitely make you feel satisfied while not worrying about the rapid shrinkage of your wallet.
Jinli
Jinli (only ten steps away from Wuhou Temple)-Legend has it that it was once the most prosperous place in the history of Western Shu, and it was famous throughout the country as early as the Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms periods. The block is more than 351 meters long, with tea houses, inns, bars, stage, various snacks, local products, etc. (Do you see the delicious food in the photo below? My mouth is watering. Oh, hehe. Especially in the deep alley behind the stage at night, the elegant lights of the bar set off the ancient dark red lanterns along the street. Here, in addition to eternal memories, there will be beautiful encounters.
Jinli, a characteristic street next to Wuhou Temple in the south gate of Chengdu, is decorated with the antique taste of old Chengdu, and you can also eat various snacks. However, the snacks here are also rented to everyone, and the taste is uneven. It is ok to try them. It is worth mentioning two points: First, you can listen to Sichuan Opera in it, but you need to buy tickets. Second, there are several good bars in it, all of which have their own characteristics. For example, they are for travelers to communicate. In addition, Chengdu is the birthplace of Shu culture in the Three Kingdoms. If your relatives are interested in this aspect, I suggest you go to the nearby Wuhou Temple.
Qintai Road
Qintai Road is a jewelry street in Chengdu, where large-scale jewelry is gathered and there are also a few small-scale restaurants. The building retains some ancient architectural styles, and the whole block lacks unity and features are not prominent. The reconstructed Qintai Road was officially opened on February 31, 2112, with a total length of 911 meters. Based on the antique buildings in Han and Tang Dynasties, the love story of Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wenjun is the main line, showing the customs of the Han Dynasty, such as etiquette, dancing and feasting. Qintai Road pays attention to the construction of characteristic blocks and the combination with the surrounding environment in the process of reconstruction.
cultural relics:
Wuhou Temple
Chengdu Wuhou Temple, located in Wuhou Temple Street, south gate of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is the only temple in China where the monarch and ministers jointly worship. It consists of Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang, Shu Han monarch and ministers jointly worship the temple and Huiling. Built in 223 AD, the tomb of Liu Bei was built. Over the past thousand years, it has been damaged several times and changed frequently. Wuhou Temple (referring to Zhuge Liang's special temple) was built before the Tang Dynasty, and was initially adjacent to Zhaolie Temple where Liu Bei (Emperor Zhaolie of Han Dynasty) was sacrificed. When it was rebuilt in the early Ming Dynasty, Wuhou Temple was merged into "Hanzhaolie Temple", forming the existing Wuhou Temple, which is a temple for both the monarch and the minister. The main building of the existing temple was rebuilt in 1672 during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty (the 11th year of Kangxi). In 1961, it was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit. The museum was established in 1984, and was awarded the first batch of national first-class museums in 2118, enjoying the reputation of "Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms".
Interesting place nearby: Jinli (only ten steps away from Wuhou Temple)
Good food nearby: Qin Shanzhai is the first place: the medicinal food here is light and tonic, and it is sought after by many overseas guests, and the taste is very overbearing! (Walk 311 meters to the right at the gate of Wuhou Temple) Tel: 128-85153333
Old house: It belongs to authentic Sichuan cuisine series, with good environment and good taste. Tel: 128-85198822
There is a snack bar, namely Qinshanzhai. Go 21 meters further, and there is a snack bar. There are almost all snacks in Chengdu, with wooden benches and tables. It is antique and tastes good.
If you want to grab a bite to eat, I suggest you just go to Jinli, where there is a snack street. Have you seen Zhang Fei? His old man wants to treat you to beef! But if you are a friend from other places, I guess you can't stand it, because almost all the things there are spicy Sichuan characteristics, and you just want to eat them when you see them, but many people are afraid to eat them, and their mouths are watering. However, if you come to Sichuan, you should have the opportunity to be a Sichuanese, see the scenery of Sichuan once, see the beautiful women in Sichuan once, and taste authentic Sichuan food once, then you can really come to Sichuan!

Qingyang Palace
Qingyang Palace is the oldest and largest Taoist temple in Chengdu. Although it was built in the Tang Dynasty, the existing buildings in the palace, such as Sanqing Palace, Doulao Hall, Hunyuan Hall, Lingzu Building, Zijin Terrace and Bagua Pavilion, were all rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The most striking thing is two bronze sheep in Sanqing Hall: a double-horned sheep and a single-horned sheep. It is said that the single-horned sheep used to be a bronze stove for smoking clothes in Jia Sidao's home in the Southern Song Dynasty, and although it looks like a sheep, it is actually the metaplasia of the Chinese zodiac. In the end, how this bronze sheep turns twelve into one can only be seen for yourself!
Qingyang Palace, the first Taoist temple in western Sichuan, is located in the southwest suburb of Chengdu, with Baihuatan and Wuhou Temple in the south, Du Fu Caotang in the west and Erxian Temple in the east. According to legend, the temple began in Zhou Dynasty, and its initial name was "Qingyang Temple". According to textual research, it was named "Qingyang View" on the occasion of the Three Kingdoms. In the Tang Dynasty, it was renamed "Xuanzhongguan", and in Tang Xizong, it was renamed "Guan" as "Gong". It was renamed "Qingyang Temple" in the Five Dynasties and renamed "Qingyang Palace" in the Song Dynasty until today.
Qingyang Palace is very close to the thatched cottage. Take bus No.64 and No.81, and you can reach the entrance of Qingyang Palace only two stops away.

Wenshuyuan
Located in the northwest corner of Chengdu, Wenshuyuan is a famous Buddhist temple in western Sichuan. Its predecessor was Miaoyuan Pagoda in the Tang Dynasty, and it was renamed "Xinxiang Temple" in the Song Dynasty. It was later destroyed by a military disaster. Legend has it that in the Qing Dynasty, some people saw the red light at night, and the government sent people to visit. When they saw the statue of Manjushri in the red light, it was convenient for Kangxi to raise funds to rebuild the temple, which was called Manjushrin.
Emperor Kangxi wrote the word "empty forest", which gave him the imperial seal. Emperor Kangxi's ink is still in the hospital. Zhang Shuyuan faces south, with a building area of 11611 square meters. The Heavenly King Hall, the Three Masters Hall, the Daxiong Hall, the Dharma Hall and the Tibetan Scripture Building are solemn, simple and spacious, and are typical buildings of the Qing Dynasty. On both sides, there are halls for meditation, observation, guest, fasting, abstinence and Buddhist chanting, and service rooms to form a closed quadrangle. The three-eave bell and drum tower, which faces each other, has more than 4,511 kilograms of copper cast bell hanging in the bell tower. The statue of Guanyin is cast in bronze and can be called a fine sculpture. The statue of Wei Tuo, the protector of dharma, was made of bronze for the seventh-generation abbot in the ninth year of Qing Daoguang (1829). It has a delicate craftsmanship and a childlike look, which embodies the demeanor of "a boy looks like a general". There is also a Myanmar Jade Buddha listed as one of the "Eight Views of Empty Forest", which was brought back to Myanmar by a monk in the courtyard in 2111 (1922). In addition, there are more than 311 Buddha statues in the courtyard, whether they are stone carvings, copper and iron castings or wood carvings and clay sculptures, all of which have cultural relics and artistic value.
The Wenshu Academy also collects many precious cultural relics, tens of thousands of Buddhist scriptures and documents, such as the "Tongue Blood Scripture" written by three monks, including Xianzong, every morning. Ming Shenzong's Tian Fei embroidered a thousand Buddha robes; The eldest daughter of Yang Yuchun in Qing Dynasty embroidered Shuiyue Guanyin with her own hair. The parietal bone of Tang priest Xuanzang hidden in the hospital is particularly precious; In 1942, three parietal bones of Tang Priest were found in Nanjing. Now, 1 remains in Nanjing and 1 is sent to Xi 'an. Because Chengdu is the sacred place of Tang Priest, 1 will be sent to Chengdu.
