In addition to the number, 053 generally refers to the Shenyang 053 Art District, or JDU Art District, the name of which is derived from the name of the 053 class of Shenyang Architecture University. Introduction of 053 Art District

In the southeast corner of Shenyang, there is a school known for its art, Shenyang Architecture University, which was established in the last 50 years and is represented by 053 Art District. Located in Shenyang's Hunnan Avenue District 9, it was formerly known as Class 053, and after several changes, was officially renamed 053 Art District in 2009

Starting in 2005, artists from around Shenyang and outside of China began to gather at 053, and with the unique vision of an artist, they discovered the unique advantages of the area for practicing art. They made full use of the style of the original factory building (German Bauhaus architecture), slightly renovated and modified it, and transformed it into a characteristic art exhibition and creation space. Now 053 has attracted wide attention from domestic and foreign media and the public, and has become a new landmark of Shenyang culture.

053 Art District was established in 2009.

A group of young men formed the 053 Art Zone at the University of Architecture.

They were young and active.

In just 3 months they established a strong network system.

And establish the formation of LOFE style studio.
