Yongchuan Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing is the key project of expressway in the Third Ring Road of Chongqing, and it is also the first Yangtze River Bridge in Yongchuan District and the first Yangtze River Bridge in the upper reaches of Chongqing. Construction history

In July p>2119, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a document to the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, replying to the proposal of Yongchuan Yangtze River Highway Bridge project. The project started from Shuangfengchang, Wujian Town, Yongchuan District, Chongqing, temporarily connected to the first-class highway from Yongchuan to Luzhou (provincial highway 215), passed through Songgai Town, crossed the Yangtze River in Continental Creek, passed through Shifa, ended in Tanghe, jiangjin district, and then connected with Jiangjin, Chongqing, which was under construction, to Sichuan.

the total investment of the project is estimated to be 1.46 billion yuan, including 1.16 billion yuan for engineering construction and installation, 291 million yuan for other engineering construction expenses and 1 billion yuan for reserve.

In July p>2111, construction of Yongchuan Yangtze River Bridge started.

from 11 to 21, 2112, the north tower on Yongchuan side has been built to 1.28m, the south tower on Jiangjin side has been built to 1.21m, and 85 approach pier piles have been built. The accumulated investment of the project has been 211 million yuan.

on may 7, 2113, the main tower on the north shore was officially capped.

on February 26, 2113, the middle span of the bridge was closed and the main project was completed.

the bridge was completed in July p>2114.

the bridge was officially opened to traffic at 12:18 on February 25th, 2114.

Yongchuan Yangtze River Bridge starts from Songgai Town, Yongchuan District, Chongqing in the north, crosses the Yangtze River and enters Shima Town, jiangjin district, Chongqing. Yongchuan Yangtze river bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with twin towers and double cable planes with a main span of 618m, with a total length of 1,118m and a span of (64+68*2+618+68*2+64) m, in which the Yongchuan side tower is 196.7m high and the Jiangjin side tower is 217.4m high. The bridge adopts two-way six-lane expressway standard, with a design speed of 81km/h, and the design load of bridges and culverts is Grade I highway.
