The original site of the art museum was a greenhouse in People's Park. During the construction process, the exterior glass walls of the museum were preserved, while the interior of the museum was rebuilt on a large scale. The venue retains its excellent natural lighting conditions and the park's outstanding landscape, while at the same time meeting the professional requirements of a museum with the addition of a number of facilities. The total area of the gallery is 4,000 square meters; the exhibition areas are on the first and second floors, with a total area of nearly 1,800 square meters, and all exhibition areas are equipped with professional temperature and humidity control facilities.
Administrative areas include conference rooms, multi-function rooms, VIP rooms, and data and information centers. The public ****service area includes a customer service desk, an art gallery gift store and a restaurant offering delicious meals with an excellent view.
The 1,000-square-meter space features a striking 50-meter crescent-shaped illuminated ramp that makes visiting the exhibitions here a new visual experience.
Gallery 2 is a fusion of the interior space and the exterior environment. In this 800-square-meter open space, visitors can take in the ramp and the crystal-shaped glass structure of the gallery.
