Tableware used to eat western food includes knives, forks, spoons, plates, cups and so on. The arrangement of tableware is very particular. A main course should be placed in front of each seat. Although there are many kinds of tableware, it is quite easy to distinguish their uses.

(1) Use the tableware farthest from the plate first, and then take it in an asymptotic order. Tableware for dessert should be placed in front of the plate. If there is a set of tableware next to the plate, you should know that it is for the last food cheese.

(2) The knife should be placed on the right, with the blade facing the dinner plate, the fork should be placed on the left, and the fork teeth are facing down. The spoon should be placed on the right side of the knife or in front of the plate if there is no dessert.

(3) If there are side dishes before serving the soup, put the appropriate tableware on the side of the existing tableware on the dining table. In other words, the knife should be placed on the right side of the spoon, and the fork should be placed on the left side of the outermost plate. For example, the tableware for eating fish should be placed behind the spoon, and the tableware for eating meat should be placed next to the plate. Tableware with side dishes can be crossed on plates and covered with napkins. Add side dishes, hot dishes or cold dishes to the plate and use a special fork and spoon. It's unsightly to barbecue and cut butter with your own tableware.

(4) The wine glass should be placed on the right front of the other side of the chassis. The first glass should be placed on the far right, and the glass for drinking beer should be placed on the tray.

(5) When drinking coffee at night and setting the table, make the edge of the snack tray flush with the edge of the table. The coffee cup tray should be placed on the right side of the dessert tray. The spoon should be placed on the tray or on the right side of the tray. If the spoon has been inserted in the coffee, it can only be placed on the tray, otherwise the tablecloth will be stained by the coffee.

(6) The knife and fork for eating snacks should be placed on the right side of the snack tray, that is, between the snack tray and the coffee cup. If you eat preserved fruits and cakes, you should prepare some special shovels, and when you eat hard snacks, you should prepare some pliers.
