A half-bird's-eye view of Haitian Center, the tallest building in Qingdao. Haitian Center is composed of three tall buildings: T1, T2 and T3.
Tower 2, the tallest building in Qingdao, with a design height of 369 meters, is also officially heading for the sky.
Using laser positioning, three-dimensional technology and computer software to optimize the radian of steel column, the angle can be changed four times on a steel column with a length of 11 meters, but the naked eye can't feel the change.
Haitian Center was designed with two elements, namely "the memory of the city" and "the rhyme of the sea". As the basic plane shape of the tower, rhythmic curves are derived from the local vertical direction, most indoor spaces are kept regular, and the overall facade emphasizes horizontal lines, which echoes the original Haitian Hotel. The design element of "the rhyme of the sea" is reflected in the "waves" on the north and south facades, which are generated with the height change.
