On a weekend in September, the sun stopped burning, so I invited my friends to Yangzhou. The first stop is Dongguan Street in Yangzhou. Dongguan Street is the most representative historical old street in Yangzhou. It starts from the ancient canal in the east and ends at Guoqing Road in the west, with a total length of 1 122 meters. The original street was paved with long slates. This street used to be the land and water transportation hub of Yangzhou, as well as the center of commerce, handicrafts and religious culture. The streets are bustling with listed wells, enterprises and businesses. What's more worth mentioning is that all kinds of special snacks of Huaiyang cuisine are gathered here, such as Yangbaguai ginger soup, Sixi glutinous rice balls, osmanthus lotus root starch glutinous rice balls, Baoying long fish noodles, Zhao's stacked glutinous rice balls and so on. It is definitely a delicious place that I don't want to leave when I come.
There are many shops in Dongguan Street. Walking among them, I thought of the prosperity here in ancient times. The Hu spicy soup in Suxiangyuan was originally thought to be a Henan dish, but I didn't expect Yangzhou to teach it. The exclusive feature is the addition of shredded chicken, which is very good. Dongguan Street, similar to the newly-built antique old street, sells all kinds of snacks and gadgets. Nanluoguxiang in Beijing, Chenghuang Temple in Shanghai, Where Street in Hangzhou, Confucius Temple in Nanjing, Jinli in Chengdu and Zhongshan Road in Xiamen? The crispy edge of the old brand, Xiao Er, give me a bowl of bean curd just out of the pot. When you come to Yangzhou, the last thing you can miss is Baoying long fish noodles. In addition to shops with a long history, Dongguan Street also has many historical sites and cultural relics, including Ge Yuan, Puyi and Wang's small courtyards, Guangling Academy, Anding Academy and Yidong School, Wudang Palace in Ming Dynasty, Zhunti Temple in Ming Dynasty, and the mosque built by Kangxi in Ma Jian Lane in 53 years.
