The establishment of Wuhan Youth League can be traced back to the early 1920s. At that time, Wuhan was a city oppressed by foreign powers' aggression and feudal rule, and young people actively participated in the struggle of democratic revolution. In this context, some progressive young people in Wuhan began to think about how to organize themselves, give play to their own strength and promote social progress.

The meeting adopted a resolution to establish the Chinese Kuomintang Youth League and elected the Central Executive Committee.
1925, the first local organization-Hubei District Committee was established in the Communist Party of China (CPC). Many progressive young people in Wuhan also actively participated in the construction and revolutionary activities of the * * * production party.
In June of the same year, the China * * * Production Party held its second national congress in Guangzhou, and established the China * * * Production Youth League. Wuhan Youth League was immediately changed to Wuhan Committee of China * * * Production Youth League and became one of the youth organizations led by the * * * Production Party.

On April 1926 and 12, Wuhan workers launched an anti-imperialist and anti-feudal strike, and the Wuhan Communist Youth League actively participated in the organization and leadership. 1July, 927, the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party broke down, Chiang Kai-shek launched a large-scale Qing Dynasty, and the Wuhan Youth League actively participated in the important struggles such as the Wuhan Defence War and the Autumn Harvest Uprising.
