How to keep warm in the pigsty in winter?
First, the heating mode of pig farms

1, coal stove

Ordinary coal-fired heating facilities are mostly used in areas with cold weather and sufficient supply of lump coal. The fuel used is lump coal, which has the advantages of fast heating speed and convenient movement, can be installed and used at any time, and can be used for pigsty emergency.

2. Honeycomb coal stove

Using honeycomb coal as fuel, the heating speed and quantity are slower and less than those of coal stoves, but it is used in many parts of the country because of its smokeless use and convenience. The advantage is that it is convenient to move, can be installed and used at any time, and there is no need to install a chimney in an emergency, which is more convenient than a coal stove.

Step 3: Firewall

The fire escape made of brick and other materials near the pigsty wall has good thermal insulation performance, and the firewall is mostly used in cold areas. If the fire mouth is located outside the pigsty, it can also prevent adverse effects such as oil smoke or dust.

4. Dikang

The lower part of the pigsty is designed as a fire escape. When the fire burns below, the ground will keep a certain temperature. Because the heat is emitted from the bottom up, the kang can not only keep a suitable temperature, but also ensure the temperature of pigs when the pigsty temperature is low, which greatly saves the cost. In addition, the floor kang can be designed to burn firewood, and the fuel is cheap weeds or crop straws, which can reduce the cost. In the agricultural areas with rich straw, small pig farms have sufficient manpower and are very affordable.

5. Floor heating

Similar to Kang, but the difference is that the circulating water pipe is buried in the concrete floor. When heating is needed, the boiler water is heated, and the hot water is pumped into the circulating water pipe in the cement floor through the circulating pump to raise the ground temperature. This method is used in many pig farms, and the effect is very good, and it does not occupy the ground area, and the old pig house is easy to rebuild. If the thermal insulation layer is laid under the cement floor to prevent heat from radiating below, part of the cost of burning coal can be saved.

6. Water heating

Residents use water heating, but because pigs are generally at a low level, the heat of water heaters is rising, the heating effect is average, and the investment is large, covering a large area, and the usage is decreasing.

7. Warm air

With water heating, the heating speed is faster, and it is easy to meet the temperature requirements of various pig houses. The disadvantage is that it requires higher boiler workers and is not suitable for small pig farms.

8. Plastic shed

Farmers use the most common facilities to raise pigs, with less investment and convenient use.

9. Electric air conditioner

The investment is large and the cost is high, so it can only be used in an emergency.

10, hot air blower

Also called livestock and poultry air conditioner, the heat of the boiler is blown into the pigsty by a fan. The pigsty is even in temperature, clean and hygienic, and the price is much cheaper than that of electric air conditioner. Many large pig farms are using it.

1 1, infrared light

Local heating is a good choice, suitable for emergency, especially in newly transferred pigs, which is easy to operate and very popular among farmers.

Second, the safety heating matters needing attention

1, furnace smoke

This phenomenon often occurs when using coal stoves, honeycomb coal stoves or firewalls, especially when making a fire, which often makes the room full of smoke. In a relatively dense pigsty, the air quality is obviously worse, which is not conducive to the health of pigs. In addition, some pig farm coal stoves or honeycomb coal stoves are not equipped with chimneys, which is easy to cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Because pigs are more tolerant to carbon monoxide than people, they often cause chronic poisoning without being found, so when using coal stoves or honeycomb coal stoves, chimneys must be installed.

2. Fire

Fires caused by heating happen from time to time, especially in wooden piggery, so chimneys must be far away from flammable materials. At the same time, in the heating season, personnel should be arranged to be on duty at night to prevent accidents.

3. Humidity of plastic greenhouse

Plastic greenhouses are prone to excessive humidity in winter, mainly because the humidity in pig houses cannot be discharged. Therefore, when using plastic greenhouses, ventilation holes should be reserved on the roof to prevent the ventilation holes from losing too much heat. In the evening, we can consider covering the ventilation holes with grass curtains, which will not affect the ventilation, but also play a role in heat preservation. When building a plastic shed, if it is designed in the form of an easy-to-uncover straw curtain, it is more beneficial to pig production to cover the straw curtain at night and uncover it during the day.

4. Water circulation of heating hot blast stove

The phenomenon of poor water circulation between heating and hot blast stove occurs from time to time. Once the circulation is blocked, the hot water will not be delivered in place and will not play a role in heating. There is also a phenomenon that due to poor design, the heating pipes are uneven, some areas are very hot, and some areas are not hot, resulting in uneven temperature in the pigsty.

5, livestock and poultry air conditioning should be used reasonably.

Livestock and poultry air conditioning is not as reliable as electric air conditioning, and some problems often occur. If you don't know how to use or maintain them, you will often be unable to use them. Sometimes manual control is needed to adjust the air conditioner. Therefore, when buying air conditioners for livestock and poultry, you must keep the instructions for use. General minor problems can be adjusted with reference to the instructions. This phenomenon often occurs when changing breeders or electricians.

6. Don't neglect air quality.

When the weather is cold, the pigsty is often closed, the fresh air is less, and the oxygen in the pigsty is often insufficient, which affects the production of pigs. Therefore, don't ignore the air quality when keeping warm, so as not to lose sight of one thing and lose sight of another.
