It is reported that there have been reports that cameras have been installed in the private rooms of many stores in Haidilao. The reporter visited a number of stores in Chaoyang District, Beijing, and did see the cloud desktop camera in the private room.
Subsequently, the reporter visited some other brand catering enterprises and found that it is not uncommon to install cameras in hotel rooms. Three of the eight restaurants visited had cameras. However, some private rooms are not provided with relevant tips such as "internal monitoring".
Extended data:
There are no clear laws and regulations on whether cameras can be installed in private rooms.
For example, in the regulations concerning "cameras" in the catering industry, the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Public Security Management of Catering Enterprises clearly stipulates that large and medium-sized catering enterprises should set up image information collection points at the entrances and exits of business premises, lobbies, main passages, main business premises, parking lots, underground parking lots, cash registers, accounting rooms, passenger elevators and escalators in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and set up eye-catching prompt information. The image information system shall operate normally during the business period and shall not be interrupted.
In this regulation, private rooms are not listed.
