The indoor reclining Buddha statue is 34.5 meters long, painted in gold and lifelike in shape. If you wake it up, you will wake up when you call it. Horseshoe Temple Scenic Area
Horseshoe Temple, also known as Puguang Temple, was built in Beiliang during the Sixteen Countries Period of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and it has been more than 1,611 years since then. However, it is a pity that the original large-scale buildings of Horseshoe Temple were mostly destroyed by the war, including Jinta Temple, Thousand Buddha Cave, North and South Horseshoe Temple and Guanyin, due to the chaos of the northern warlords at that time and the change of dynasties.
during the Beiliang period, Horseshoe Temple was originally a Buddhist temple of Han Dynasty, and later it gradually became a Tibetan Buddhist temple, belonging to the East Keer Temple in Qinghai of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Since the temple was built, incense has been extremely prosperous, with more than 1,111 monks at its peak, and there were more than 51 monks in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which shows the glory of Horseshoe Temple in history.

Han Ming Great Wall
The Great Wall of Han Dynasty was called "Sai" in Han Dynasty. Six years ago (before 111), Yuan Ding, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, built a frontier fortress project from the west of the Yellow River to Jiuquan. Starting from the border between Yongchang and Shandan, it passes through Xiakou Valley to the north of Jinshanzi, passing through Duanyao, Xinhe, Sanlibao and Shilibao to the northwest, passing through 2 kilometers north of Shandan City, passing through the northern edge of Chengbei, Shihao, Beiwan, Jing 'an and Xiaozhai, and reaching Xitun North, crossing the Yandonggou and entering Ganzhou District. Where the Great Wall passes through Pingchuan and Gobi, it is generally composed of trenches, ridges (on the south side), towers built on the ridges, and towers connected with pavilions and barriers. The existing trenches in Shandan are 59.95km long, 1.8m ~ 3m deep and 5m ~ 8m wide. There are ridges in the trench, which are in the shape of soil ridges. The beacon towers are built on the ridges with an interval of about 1.25 km. Most of the obstacles are connected with the beacon towers on the ridge, covering an area of about 111 square meters, and there are three existing obstacles. About 4 kilometers east of Shandan Xiakou Valley, there is no trench or wall because the mountain is blocked by the river.
the great wall in Ming dynasty was called the side wall in Ming dynasty. It is composed of walls, piers and barriers made of loess or yellow sand, and the rammed soil layer is 1.5 cm ~ 21 cm thick. The wall base is about 4 meters wide and 5 meters high. A beacon tower is built on the big wall. The bottom of the pier is 8 meters to 12 meters long and below 12 meters high. Where the south side of the pier is flush with the wall surface, the north side protrudes. There is no horse path in the front, climb with a rope ladder. The big wall has a patrol track, which is about 1 ~ 1.5 meters wide. The skirt wall is built on the north edge of the top of the wall, with a height of about 1.5 meters. When the Great Wall is built, anyone who passes through the city or fortress will leave a secret door (that is, the city gate hole), and a watchtower will be built on the outside of the door. The trend of the Ming Great Wall is basically the same as that of the Han Great Wall. The Great Wall of Ming Dynasty was built in about forty years from the middle period of Jiajing, Qin Long to the early period of Wanli (1573-1619).
What are the interesting scenic spots in Zhangye
1. Mogao Grottoes Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are the general names of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Gansu Province and the West Thousand Buddha Cave. They are one of the four largest grottoes in China, and the largest and best-preserved treasure house of Buddhist art in the world. The Mogao Grottoes are located 25 kilometers southeast of Dunhuang City, and are dug on the cliff at the eastern foot of Mingsha Mountain. In the second year of Qin and Fujian (AD 366), there were Mensa believers coming here. Seeing the golden light on Mingsha Mountain and thousands of Buddhas, I sprouted my heart and built it continuously, becoming a Buddhist holy place, named Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as Thousand Buddhas Cave. China Grottoes originated from India. The traditional grottoes in India are mainly made of stones, while the sculptures in Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes are mainly made of clay murals because rocks are not suitable for carving. Generally, the whole cave used to be round plastic, and then it gradually faded into high plastic, shadow plastic and wall plastic. Finally, with the mural as the background, the art of modeling and painting is integrated. There are more than a thousand caves in the Mogao Grottoes in the Tang Dynasty, and there are 492 existing caves, including Wei 32, Sui 111, Tang 247, Five Dynasties 36, Song 45 and Yuan 8. In the grottoes of the Northern Dynasties, the main image is usually Sakyamuni or Maitreya Buddha, and there are two dangerous buddhas or one Buddha, two disciples and two bodhisattvas on both sides of the main image. The back of the statue is often connected with murals. The top and walls of the cave are covered with murals. 2. Mingsha Mountain-Yueya Spring Scenic Area Mingsha Mountain was called Shensha Mountain and Shajiao Mountain in ancient times. It is about 41 kilometers long from east to west, 21 kilometers wide from north to south and tens of meters high. It starts from the top of Mogao Grottoes in the east and meets Danghe Reservoir in the west. The peak is steep, like a sharp sword, and the whole mountain is composed of oily fine-grained yellow sand. When climbing a mountain, I only feel that the sand under my feet will make a sound. Although I am shallow, I will take another step back. Climbing the mountain is extremely difficult, but I still find it interesting. I climbed to the top of the mountain with all my strength. At this time, I felt a strong wind with fine sand coming towards my body, singing endlessly, and the footprints left behind soon disappeared. It is said that a gust of wind blew, and the gravel falling from the top of the mountain fell with the human body, and the sand mountain made a loud noise. On weekdays, the breeze blows like string bamboo, hence the name Mingsha Mountain. The sunset scenery of Mingsha Mountain is even more intoxicating and a must-see. The crescent moon is about 311 meters long and 51 meters wide, surrounding Mingsha Mountain. The poplars by the spring are graceful, and the fish in the spring swim leisurely. The spring water is light blue, clear and soft, delicious and sweet. It is named because the water is like a crescent moon. Crescent Moon Spring, a dreamlike mystery. For thousands of years, it has not been submerged by quicksand or dried up by drought. It can be called the first desert spring in the world, which is amazing. 3. Dunhuang Dunhuang is a pearl in the world art treasure house, located at the western end of Hexi Corridor in northwest China, with 41 degrees 11 minutes north latitude and 92 degrees 48 minutes east longitude. It is adjacent to Dong 'anxi County in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the northwest and faces Aksai Kazak Autonomous County across the river in the south. It is a small oasis surrounded by mountains, deserts and Gobi. It covers an area of 31,211 square kilometers, with an average elevation of 1,111 meters and an annual average temperature of 9.3 degrees. Dunhuang has a glorious chapter in the long history of China. Since the Han and Tang Dynasties, it has been the throat of the Silk Road and the traffic fortress between China and the West, and it is a metropolis handed over by Huarong Road. Dunhuang has a long history, splendid culture, numerous scenic spots and historical sites and unique and charming natural scenery. There are 241 cultural relics such as grottoes, temples, ancient tombs, the Great Wall of Han Dynasty, passes, ancient cities, blockade lines and ancient post stations. The world-famous Mogao Grottoes, the world-famous human cultural heritage, Yangguan, Yumenguan, Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring, the legendary Wowachi, Sanwei Mountain and Ya Dan Ghost Town, especially the culture and art of Mogao Grottoes, the West Thousand Buddha Cave and Yulin Grottoes, the Great Wall of Han Dynasty and the hanging spring monuments are all fascinating. 4. Crescent Spring Yaquan, formerly known as Shajing, is commonly known as Yaoquan. It has been one of the "Eight Scenes of Dunhuang" since the Han Dynasty, and it is called "Yue Quan Che Xiao". Crescent Spring is nearly 111 meters long from north to south and about 25 meters wide from east to west. The spring is deep in the east and shallow in the west, with the deepest point of about 5 meters. Bending like a crescent moon, hence the name. Known as "the first spring in the desert". The famous mountain crescent spring scenic spot is located in Dunhuang city at the western end of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province. Crescent Spring is located in Dunhuang City, the western end of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province. Dunhuang is a famous city on the ancient Silk Road. In the long history of cultural exchanges between China and the West, it was once a gathering place for celebrities of Chinese and Western cultures. They merged with each other and created the world-famous "Dunhuang culture", leaving many cultural treasures for mankind. Crescent Spring, known as Shajing in ancient times and Yaoquan in common name, has been one of the "Eight Scenes of Dunhuang" since the Han Dynasty, and is called "Yue Quan Che Xiao". Crescent Spring is nearly 111 meters long from north to south and about 25 meters wide from east to west. The spring is deep in the east and shallow in the west, with the deepest point of about 5 meters. Bending like a crescent moon, hence the name. Known as "the first spring in the desert". A clear spring bends, ripples linger, and green as jade. In the quicksand of spring, it is a wonder that the drought is inexhaustible and the sandstorm does not fall. Scholars of all ages praised this unique mountain spring landform and desert wonders. 5. Mingsha Mountain In China, there are many tourist attractions called "Mingsha Mountain", among which Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain is the most representative and well-known because of its long history and culture, so it is introduced separately. "God's preaching is different from sand, and cold also sounds. The situation is doubtful and the sky is stirring. Yin is like a mine, the wind is still sharp, and the human umbilical blade is uneven. " This vivid chanting poem is a description of the wonders of Mingsha Mountain in Dunhuang by poets in the Tang Dynasty. Mingsha Mountain has attracted people with its vivid natural wonders since ancient times. In the Western Han Dynasty, it was recorded that Mingshashan played bell, drum and orchestral music. Records of Counties and Counties in the Later Han Dynasty quoted the Southern Dynasties' Old Times as saying: "Mountains are different from mountains, and water has the god of hanging springs". "Geography of Old Tang Book" contains Mingsha Mountain, "When the weather is clear, the sand sounds in the dry city". Dunhuang suicide note contains Mingsha Mountain, "In midsummer, people practice it, and the sound vibrates for dozens of miles. The custom of the Dragon Boat Festival is that all the children in the city meet at the peak, and the sand roar like thunder. " In the Qing Dynasty, Dunhuang County Records listed "Shaling Qingming" as one of the eight scenic spots in Dunhuang. Mingsha Mountain is a national key scenic spot. 6. Yangguan Site Yangguan, located on the "Antique Beach" 71 kilometers southwest of Dunhuang City, was named after being located in the south of Yumen Pass. As early as 121 BC, the Western Han Dynasty established four counties of Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan and Dunhuang in Hexi Corridor, and at the same time established Yangguan and Yumenguan to resist the invasion of the Xiongnu to the frontier and manage the western regions. Since then, as the gateway to the western regions, Yangguan is the only place where the South Road of the Silk Road passes, and its strategic position is extremely important. Since the Western Han Dynasty, many dynasties have taken this place as a military stronghold and sent troops to guard it. Xuanzang became a monk, took the South Silk Road from India, and went east to Yang Guan to return to Chang 'an and China. Cen Can, a frontier poet, once wrote the poem "Two years of official business, two years of sunshine". After the Song Dynasty, the quicksand from Bailongdui swallowed up, forcing people to retreat eastward, and Yangguan was buried in the ruthless desert. Today, the former Yangguan City has long since disappeared, and the only sight-a beacon tower on Dundun Mountain still stands proudly. 7. Ya Dan National Geopark in Dunhuang, Gansu The Ya Dan National Geopark in Dunhuang, Gansu Province is located about 181 kilometers northwest of Dunhuang, a famous historical and cultural city in China, and about 111 kilometers northwest of Yumenguan. The park covers an area of 398 square kilometers. Ya Dan landform landscape mainly formed by wind erosion. There are all kinds of wind erosion landforms with strange shapes in the geological park, such as Mongolian yurts, camels, stone birds, stone men, stone buddhas and stone horses, which are different in shape and lifelike. It is like an ancient medieval city, and many famous buildings in the world can find its miniature here, which makes the world stare. At night, the sharp strong wind makes a terrible roar, which is as creepy as the roar of thousands of wild animals, hence the name "Ghost Town". Dunhuang is a part of ancient Lop Nur. It belongs to desert plain area, with abundant sunshine, less rainfall and large evaporation. In windy season, the maximum wind force can reach above 12. Geologically, it is located in the center of Dunhuang-Shulehe fault basin in Cenozoic (about 65 million years ago). The rocks of Ya Dan landform were formed in the Middle Pleistocene about 711,111 years ago, which are a set of sandy and muddy sediments of fluvial facies and lacustrine facies. The colors are gray, grayish green and khaki. 8. The diaojiao building of the hanging spring site is a small square castle with the door facing east, surrounded by tall courtyard walls, and the side is 51 meters long. There is a prominent turret on the dock in the southwest corner. The dock system is made of adobe, and its length, width and thickness are about 41, 21 and 11 cm. There are 3 groups of 12 adobe wall bungalows (including one suite) in the west wall and north wall of the wharf, which are residential areas; The east and north sides are office buildings; There are three stables in the southwest corner and north; There are three stables with a length of about 51 meters and a north-south direction in the southwest of the wharf. The west of the dock is a waste accumulation area. Spring Hanging is called 91 years-an important new discovery in the ancient world. Home is equivalent to the post of later generations. Archaeological evidence shows that in the same year (111 BC) when Li Guangli cut Dawan and got a bloody horse, the Western Han Dynasty set up an important institution-Xuanquanzhi, which was responsible for delivering official documents and mails and receiving past officials, envoys and troops. 9. Imitate the ancient city of Dunhuang in the Song Dynasty, which is 11 kilometers west of the Gobi Oasis, west of the beacon tower in the Han Dynasty, south of Mingsha Mountain and north of the desert wasteland. In July, 1987, the city was a film and television city, which was funded by the Japanese side and designed and built by the Chinese side when co-producing the film Dunhuang. Because the story of Dunhuang took place in the Song Dynasty, all the scenery in the city was built according to the style of the Song Dynasty, so it was called Dunhuang Ancient City or Shazhou City, and the local people called it Dunhuang Film City or Dunhuang Ancient City for short. After the film was finished, the ancient city was handed over to the local area for protection and utilization, and became a film and television shooting base in western China, adding a new tourist attraction to Dunhuang. The ancient city is large in scale, with a total area of 1 million square meters and a building area of 1 million square meters. The surrounding city walls are made of adobe, with three gates in the east, west and south. The east gate is modeled after the original east gate of Dunhuang, which is simple and elegant; The West Gate Tower is 18 meters high. It's called wangjinglou, and there's a Western Region plaque hanging upstairs. The two towers fly into the air, with four corners high and far apart. There are five blocks in the city, representing Bianliang, Gaochang, Ganzhou and Xingqing respectively. 11. The swan stops here, the yellow duck lives here, the fish flies shallowly and the birds are reflected in the lake. Standing on the shore of the lake, you can see the crystal clear blue lake, red and green grasslands, magnificent sand mountains and silver snow peaks, which makes people relaxed and happy. According to historical records, in the third year of Liang Wudi's Yuanshou (121 BC), there was a small official named profiteer in Xinye, Nanyang, Henan. His crime was punished and he was exiled here to settle down and raise horses. When he released his horse, he saw a group of wild horses coming to Wowachi to drink water every evening. One day, he found a unique fine horse among the wild horses. This horse is tall, with extraordinary bones and purple fur, and it runs like a raging fire. I often make huge profits and know that Emperor Wudi loves BMW, so I designed to capture it and dedicate it to Emperor Wudi. In order to make the horse mysterious and weird, I lied that it flew out of the pool.
