Rats prefer forgotten corners in basements, cupboards and storerooms. Clean up the debris, so that the house no longer attracts mice to build nests.

2. Eliminate food sources

Create rat-proof kitchens and food storage rooms. The most likely food source for mice entering your house is the kitchen. Make sure you don't provide food for the mice.

3. Use deterrent

Let the cat stay in the house for a while. Cats are natural enemies of mice, and their existence is of great help to control the number of mice in the house. Cats kept indoors or outdoors can well deter mice.

1. Because the smell of garbage can attract mice, it is best to use a garbage can with a cover. Clean up the garbage often, instead of leaving it in the kitchen for too long.
