"Big rivers flow in Wan Li." Yangtze River-the world-famous Oriental Dragon, a great symbol of the Chinese nation! The Yangtze River, our mother river, has nurtured many Chinese children with its sweet milk for thousands of years!
Thinking about the source of drinking water, caring for the Yangtze River means caring for our mother, and protecting the Yangtze River is our unshirkable responsibility. However, the sewage occupation, overfishing and delicacies of the Yangtze River have caused great man-made damage to fishery resources and ecological environment, and the water quality of the Yangtze River is deteriorating day by day. The rare fish resources in the Yangtze River, such as Chinese sturgeon, mullet, herring, swordfish, river bream and river bream, are increasingly exhausted.
We should reflect, we must be sober. The State Council's Action Plan for the Protection of Aquatic Biological Resources in China pointed out: "The protection of aquatic biological resources is a social systematic project, which needs extensive support and joint efforts from all walks of life. Protecting the Yangtze River means protecting the environment on which we live and develop. Fishing ban and proliferation and release in the Yangtze River are important measures to protect aquatic biological resources in the Yangtze River. To this end, we jointly propose that the whole society take urgent action to protect the Yangtze River and the earth, and declare war on illegal activities such as encroachment, overfishing and illegal fishing! From now on, restaurants will stop operating Jiangxian during the fishing ban; Vigorously carry out the activities of enterprises along the Yangtze River to "release subsidies for emission reduction", fishermen to "legally fish safely" and people to "release organisms to benefit people's livelihood" to protect aquatic biological resources in the Yangtze River and promote the sustainable development of fishery production in the Yangtze River.
We look forward to: caring for life with actions and thanking the Yangtze River; Use our sincerity to benefit future generations and contribute to the future. Let's join hands and actively participate in the subscription and release of fishery resources in the Yangtze River, making our greatest contribution to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature and the coordinated and sustainable development of economy, environment and society!
Chapter II: Protecting the fish resources in the Yangtze River for the benefit of future generations.
Fishermen specializing in sideline business along the Yangtze River:
Our county has a 65-kilometer reach, and fishery resources were once very rich. The shad, swordfish and puffer fish belong to the "three fresh" of the Yangtze River. In the 1970s and early 1980s, there was a fish season every year. The scene of people enjoying fish jumping must have left beautiful memories in the minds of many middle-aged and old fishermen.
By the end of 1980s, especially in the middle and late 1990s, at first, the shad was on the verge of extinction, and the output of puffer fish and swordfish went from bad to worse. The output of other conventional fish has declined to varying degrees, and some species have dropped significantly. This is not only closely related to the increasingly serious environmental pollution in the Yangtze River and the deterioration of the living environment of aquatic organisms such as fish, but also directly related to the population growth of fishermen in China, strong dependence on fish resources, strong fishing intensity and weak awareness of resource protection, especially the use of ecstasy, deep-water nets, rolling hooks, electric fishing and other high-intensity and predatory fishing methods. Some experts predict that at this rate, if the environmental management and resource protection of the Yangtze River are not strengthened, it will be difficult to catch fish in the Yangtze River in another 50 years.
In order to respond to the call of the national sustainable development strategy, implement the Scientific Outlook on Development and protect the fishery resources of the Yangtze River, the Ministry of Agriculture of People's Republic of China (PRC) tried out the closed fishing period system for the main stream and tributaries of the Yangtze River in 2002, and formally implemented it from 2003. Judging from the results of fishing ban in the first eight years in our county, the ban on fishing in the Yangtze River has played a buffering role in the recovery of fishery resources in the Yangtze River and achieved certain results. At the end of 2008, the provincial fishery authorities organized and implemented the Wei release activity in the reach of our county for the first time. In recent years, the state has increased the proliferation and release of fishery resources in the Yangtze River. As the decline of fishery resources in the Yangtze River has reached a very serious level, there is still a long way to go and a heavy task to restore resources in the 1980s.
This year, the state still implements the system of closed fishing season in the Yangtze River, and it is clear that it will continue to increase investment and release the resources of the Yangtze River. I hope that the fishermen along the Yangtze River in our county will live up to the ardent expectations of the party and the country, strictly abide by the laws and regulations of the country, firmly establish the awareness of resource hardship and sustainable development, and restrain themselves according to the requirements of the Notice on Implementing the Yangtze River Fishing Ban System 20 10 by the leading group of the Yangtze River in Hexian County.
Here, we once again solemnly propose to the fishermen who specialize in sideline business along the Yangtze River in the county: For the recovery and development of fishery resources in the Yangtze River, for the sake of doing a good job in the Yangtze River fishing ban in our county this year, and for the sake of future generations in your, please put away your fishing gear.
