Research on Wireless Mobile Communication System for High-speed Railway Control: Innovation Team of Ministry of Education
The school undertakes more than 4,000 scientific research projects such as the National High-tech "863" Plan, the National Development and Reform Commission, the science and technology support projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Social Science Fund. Since 2006, the National "973" Project has approved three funded projects. In 2008, the National Social Science Fund approved the project 1. In 2009, the "Double Hosting" project "Key Technology and Application of Vehicle Signal Safety Control System under Complex and High-speed Conditions" won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. The school has established a GSM-R technical laboratory, which is mainly used for dispatching and wireless transmission of the new generation mobile communication of China Railway. The research results have been applied to Daqin Railway, Ji Jiao Railway and Qinghai-Tibet Railway, filling the gap of wireless communication technology in China Railway. "Communication-based Train Operation Control System (CBTC)" has made a breakthrough in key technology research, and has completely independent intellectual property rights, which will be used in Yizhuang urban rail line. In 2006, two major projects of our school, "Basic Scientific Research on Traffic Congestion Bottlenecks in Big Cities" and "Basic Theoretical Research under Integrated Trusted Network and Universal Service System", were approved by the National "973" Project. The national key basic research and development plan ("973 Plan") project "Basic Theory Research on Urban Underground Engineering Safety", declared by Professor Zhang Dingli of the School of Civil Engineering of our school as the chief scientist, was approved after three rounds of expert evaluation, including letter evaluation, re-evaluation and comprehensive evaluation, and was officially launched on June 20 10.
The school pays attention to the advantages and characteristics of railway scientific research and insists on carrying out scientific and technological work around the needs of railway modernization and leap-forward development. The share of scientific research projects undertaken by the school in the railway system has always maintained the leading position of universities in China. It has made important contributions to the construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the construction of high-speed railway and the six-time speed increase of national railway, including scientific research projects such as "Qinghai-Tibet Railway Communication Signal Scheme", "Research on Special Transportation Organization Mode of Qinghai-Tibet Railway", "Qinghai-Tibet Railway Information Planning, Construction Management Information System and" Locomotive on-board Traction Experimental System Device ". The microcomputer interlocking system and locomotive owner signal equipment developed are popularized in China Railway, which provides strong technical support for ensuring railway traffic safety and improving efficiency. Participate in the construction of high-speed railway in an all-round way, organize more than 20 professors from relevant schools to participate in the compilation and negotiation of the bidding documents of the six systems of high-speed railway, set up a research base for the transportation industry at the municipal and ministerial levels, take the lead in completing the research on the operation and management system of passenger dedicated lines, and provide theoretical support, technical support and talent support for the leap-forward development of railways.
Scientific research funds have increased substantially year by year. During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, the research contract funds increased by 150% compared with the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, and the vertical project funds accounted for more than 50%. The number of the three major searches increased by 197% in the same period. In 2006, SCI ranked 39th, EI ranked 35th and ISTP ranked 1 1. In 2005, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Railways established the "Railway Joint Fund", in which Beijing established the "Beijing Urban Transportation Technology Transfer Center" and the "Beijing Transportation Development Research Base" humanities and social science bases. In recent years, the school's achievements in three projects, such as "the world's highest tunnel-the construction technology of wind-volcano tunnel in permafrost region of Qinghai-Tibet Railway" and "computer information security protection technology", won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress; Hosted by the school and with independent intellectual property rights, "Research on Key Technologies of Shield Construction in Anhydrous Gravel Stratum" and BJTU IPV6 Wireless/Mobile Router won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award; IPV6 wireless/mobile router was also included in the national industrialization project in 2006. "Communication-based Train Control System (CBTC)" has made a breakthrough in the research of key technologies, filled the gap in China, and formed the first "Communication-based Train Control System" with independent intellectual property rights in China, which has been adopted in Beijing Yizhuang urban rail line. Hosted or participated in more than 40 projects related to the Beijing Olympic Games. The Beijing Traffic Development Research Report provides a basis and reference for the Beijing Municipal Government to make comprehensive traffic scientific decisions. The school has strengthened its long-term and stable cooperative relationship with local and railway enterprises in Industry-University-Research. In 2005, UNESCO established the Chair of Higher Engineering Education and Industrial Cooperation in China. Relying on this school, the Education Working Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Education Commission set up a specialized institution for ideological and political education research of college students-Capital Research Center for Ideological and Political Education of College Students. The annual "Beijing China Transportation Forum" has formed a unique "brand". Since Beijing Jiaotong University Science Park became a municipal university science park in Beijing in 200 1, Industry-University-Research cooperation in the field of rail transit has made remarkable achievements.
