Nigou overseas Chinese school
Nigou Overseas Chinese School is also called Nigou Primary School, Nigou School and Migao Primary School. During the Republic of China, the people were poor and their education was very backward. According to relevant data, in 1930s, there were no primary schools in Puning District 2 (now Liusha). Except for Nigou, Guo Long, Wushi, Guocuoliao, Mazha, Huaxi and Chishui, there were only sporadic private schools in other 80 villages. During this period, Nigou Township has set up six complete primary schools, including Migao, Moral Education, Innovation, Mass, Tongyu and Xinsheng, as well as Tongyu classes and Li Qingshe, which can be described as numerous schools.
Migao Primary School, formerly a work-study school, was established with donations from Zhang. The original school site is in the playground of today's theater, Zhang's Weizu Temple. Founded in 1922 and liberated in 1949.
1922, principal Fang, teachers Lin Sen, Sun Fang. Many overseas Chinese and children who go out to work and do business are studying at school, with hundreds of students. The discipline and spirit of the school are strict. Senior students practice boy scout training.
1929, the whole town decided to take Michael as the general school and moral education and innovation as the branch school. Elected Xu Huisheng as the principal, set up an English class, and hired Zhang Boxin as an English teacher. After 1930, Migao Primary School merged with the schools of the same period, and Zhang Zhongyan was in charge of education affairs.
From 65438 to 0939, Zhou Xingjian, the principal of the school, taught Chen Zuoche and punished Lin Xiyuan, teachers Su Xinke and Wu Zhantian. They read widely and teach carefully. The school has added middle school classes, taught the first grade courses of junior high school, and selected some progressive books, with the Confucian "On Protracted War" as the auxiliary teaching material. In order to resist Japan and save the nation, the school organized students to publish posters, cartoons and hold speech contests, and organized teachers and students to learn battlefield rescue knowledge and skills such as medical hemostasis, dressing wounds and carrying stretchers. The school also carried out fund-raising activities and performed anti-Japanese war dramas such as Li Fuying, Melting Mark and After the Fall, which aroused the people's enthusiasm for resisting Japan and saving the country.
After 1947, the school expanded, and four new classrooms were built in the back and south of the school, which were funded by Yinhu and Gong Hu, and the students volunteered to work. Later, the children of Chen, Zheng and Sun Li in their hometown and the students of Zhang in Chiwei Dongshan came here to study, with more than 600 students.
1949 In the second half of the year, Nigou Public School was established, with Migao, Moral Education and Jin Zhe primary schools under unified leadership.
From June 1952 to June 1952, primary schools were reorganized all over the country, and Nigou public school was named Nigou Primary School, which was included in the national education track. With Migao and Moral Education as the general school, there are three teaching points: Chaozu Temple, Jin Zhe Temple and Jiude Temple. 1953 open the door to workers and peasants and recruit over-age youth. Due to the increase of students and the shortage of classrooms, we had to use the old temple as a school building until the reform and opening up, which lasted for decades.
1980, Thailand's rural sages Zhang Ruiming and Zhang spared no effort to mobilize Nigou villagers at all levels of government in Thailand to propose the construction of Nigou Overseas Chinese School, which was strongly supported. * * * Donated 700,000 yuan to build Nigou Overseas Chinese School, and the number of students increased to more than 2,000. In June 1989, the area of the teaching building was expanded, and the number of students reached 2450.
1998 Zhang Qingmin, Xiangxian donated 3 million yuan to build a new teaching building and Tianyi Square. Now the number of students has increased to 3500, which is five times higher than that in the early days of liberation.
Nigou overseas Chinese high school
Nigou Middle School, located in Sanzhuling, Nigou Township, Liaoyuan Town, Puning City, Guangdong Province, was established in 1957. In rural areas after the land reform, the masses urgently demand to learn culture, especially Nigou, which is known as the "hometown of culture". However, studying in local public middle schools was a very prominent problem at that time, and some students had to go to Shantou and other areas around Puning. Party and government in this township attached great importance to this issue, and Zhang Ke Zhuang, the propaganda member of the special general branch, devoted himself to the work of private middle schools, which was scheduled to be completed on 1957.
The school was named "Nigou Overseas Chinese Culture Tutorial School"; The school building consists of three ancestral halls: Zhang's Dejiao Ancestral Hall, Zhang's Toe Ancestral Hall and Zhang's Ancestral Hall. In addition, he borrowed three halls from relatives of overseas Chinese to build a house; Teaching equipment is simple because of its ugliness; Appoint teachers who meet the requirements of moral integrity or previous high school graduates, villagers and 37 faculty members; The principal is Zhang Ke Zhuang, and Mr. Zhang Bofeng, a famous educator in Puning County at that time, was specially invited as honorary principal. The main source of students in the school is their hometown, followed by neighboring villages, and there are always 573 students from other counties who come to study. Student fees are the same as those of public middle schools, and school funds basically rely on "raising schools by students".
The school carries forward the Yan 'an spirit, "respecting teachers and loving schools, democratic unity and hard work". Life is hard, but it is normal for teachers who love life, respect each other, help each other and get along honestly like children. Qi Xin worked hard to run the school well and achieved remarkable results. 1958, more than 80% of the students in the two upgraded cram schools reached 124, which is very famous in the county and highly praised by celebrities in Puning education.
1958, with the policy of "walking on two legs" in public and private education, the school was renamed as "Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School". However, every year, freshmen can only be admitted after being admitted to public middle schools, and the cultural starting point of freshmen is low. The school adheres to the policy of all-round development of education in morality, intelligence and physique, combines education with productive labor, and runs its own characteristics. During the period, in order to solve the shortage of teachers, teachers and students began to build three bungalow classrooms; Make due contributions to the irrigation and water conservancy construction of the commune; Student Liu Xianxin Xiao Xiaohui passed the air force pilot selection test, filling the gap in the county.
With the rapid change of the situation, all parts of Puning have proposed to dissolve private middle schools, and 29 of the 32 people in the county have been dissolved. Lieutenant Colonel Nigou, an overseas Chinese, has stabilized his course in the storm because of his good education. During this period, Fang Fang, director of the State Overseas Chinese Commission, Huang Sheng, director of the Guangdong Overseas Chinese Commission, and Wu Feng, chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, visited the overseas Chinese in Nigou successively, and the party and government leaders in Puning County also visited the overseas Chinese in Nigou. They all affirmed the direction and achievements of the school. 1958 In August, President Zhang Ke Zhuang was named as an advanced member of the National Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and attended the enlarged meeting of the All-China Federation of Overseas Chinese.
In the extremely difficult period of economic life after the "commune", the school systematically produces self-help teaching. 1July, 960, the first junior high school graduate, with excellent performance in the entrance examination, was praised by his superiors. Then, the Puning County Committee decided to move the public middle school at that time: Liaoyuan Middle School to Pingtouling, Liusha, and the students of the former Liaoyuan Middle School went to Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School. Liaoyuan Middle School and Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School merged for a while because the Pingtouling school building could not be delivered for a while.
In view of the fact that Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School, which merged with Liaoyuan Middle School, is far from solving the problem that Nigou primary school graduates are difficult to enter higher schools, at the urgent request of the masses, the party and government at the higher level agreed to reopen the privately-run Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School with independent education from the second half of 1963. The school has returned to its old appearance, and there is harmony inside and outside.
During the Cultural Revolution, Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School was doomed and tossed about several times in the so-called "correction", while in Nigou Primary School, the principal changed several times.
From the autumn of 1978, Liaoyuan Commune 10 primary schools stopped running junior high schools, and the Liaoyuan Commune was expanded to the east and west, with local people helping junior high schools. In the original site of Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School in Luxi, Nigou Junior Middle School was organized by Nigou Brigade, Wushi Brigade, Xia Di Brigade and Daxie Brigade, and sponsored by Nigou, also known as Nigou Lianzhong.
During this period, there were more than 700 students and 37 teachers in Nigou Middle School. They were taught in three places: Zhang's Toe Gong Temple, Zhang's Gong Temple (Songganli), Zhang's Chuangzu Gong Temple, Zhang's Ruzu Gong Temple and the former Nigou Brigade. The teaching conditions are extremely poor. After August 1998, it was re-established as "Nigou Overseas Chinese Middle School" and moved to Sanzhuling.
