State administration of work safety is a ministerial administrative organization directly under People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council, which is mainly responsible for safety production and coal mine safety supervision.
1999, the State Council approved the establishment of the State Administration of Coal Mine Safety, and the State Economic and Trade Commission implemented departmental management.
In 200 1 year, state administration of work safety and State Administration of Coal Mine Safety were established with the approval of the State Council, which were managed by the State Economic and Trade Commission.
In 2003, state administration of work safety (State Administration of Coal Mine Safety) became independent from the State Economic and Trade Commission and became the State Bureau (deputy ministerial level) directly under the State Council.
In 2005, it was upgraded to state administration of work safety, directly under the State Council (ministerial level), and the State Administration of Coal Mine Safety became the national bureau (deputy ministerial level) managed by state administration of work safety.
