4. Humidity requirements. The moisture content of fermented materials should be controlled at about 60%. Too high or too low is not conducive to fermentation, too little water, slow fermentation; Too much water will lead to poor ventilation, slow temperature rise and odor. Method for adjust that water content of material: if the water content is too high, organic dry materials such as rice straw powder, mushroom residue and bran can be adde. 5. Turn over the pile for ventilation. Pay attention to proper oxygen supply and turning over during fermentation (when the temperature rises to 60 ~ 70℃ or above, it should be turned over in time, usually 2 ~ 3 times), and the temperature should be controlled at about 65℃. Too high a temperature will have an impact on nutrients.

6. Fermentation is completed. Generally, the fermentation can be completed within one week, the material is dark brown, and the temperature begins to drop to normal temperature, indicating that the fermentation is complete. If there are too many auxiliary materials such as straw and mushroom residue and the cellulose content is high, the fermentation time should be extended until it is completely decomposed.
