PhenomenonStudent entrepreneurship values ecological agriculture
Since this year, Zhongshan City has held two large-scale entrepreneurship competitions, the Youth Entrepreneurship Program Competition and the E-commerce Competition. According to the activity organizer Zhongshan Municipal Youth League Committee, 90% of the participants came from several local universities. The contestants' projects are all closely related to food, clothing and other items.
The reporter combed through the specific entries and found that more than 10 of the 115 available entries were related to agricultural products and focused on green, environmental and ecological concepts. In addition, five projects are related to agricultural e-commerce. Moreover, two of the three winners of the two competitions were agricultural e-commerce projects, namely "Garden 5+2 Life Hall" and CSA Alliance. These two projects coincidentally put forward the concept of "share *** share, benefit *** enjoy", emphasizing the safety, health and environmental protection of agricultural products at the same time, focusing on the use of electronic commodity platforms to achieve online and offline sales at the same time.
The e-commerce competition, the green agricultural trade project also attracted attention. According to the captain of the project, Cai Zhiwei, a sophomore from Guangdong Institute of Technology, they plan to cooperate with the Postal Savings Bank to set up the Green Post Agricultural Trade E-commerce Co. The company has already reached a cooperation agreement with the Postal Savings Bank and plans to cooperate with planting bases around Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Zhuhai to sell green and pollution-free agricultural products.
Features project tends to use the O2O new model marketing
"At present, there have been B2C, C2C and physical supermarkets, food markets and other competitors exist, our advantages are very obvious, mainly pollution-free guarantee, the same city delivery and postal logistics professional distribution." Cai Zhiwei said, at present, there have been several large-scale online mature agricultural products purchase platform, but these platforms are not for a certain region, but the national distribution or limited to provincial distribution.C2C small-scale agricultural products online stores are also more, but can not guarantee the quality of agricultural products. Brick-and-mortar supermarkets or food markets can guarantee quality and freshness, but do not have the freedom to buy at any time.
He believes that the above factors make the e-commerce of fresh produce a space and market for development. Chen Shaokai expressed similar views. He said that life O2O is the only field in the market that can produce super e-commerce. Their project CSA intends to use the O2O model to break the traditional practice of selling agricultural products before they are planted, so as to stimulate farmers' enthusiasm for planting and ensure the quality of agricultural products. The approach also shortens the sales chain of agricultural products and maximizes returns for both farmers and consumers.
It is understood that the CSA program has already reached a cooperation agreement with the Zhongshan Ploughing Heart Garden Farm. Chen Shao Kai's team is responsible for e-commerce marketing for the farm. Currently, they have set up two offline sales points, or pick-up points, in Shiqi District. Consumers can pick up their groceries on-site at the point after placing an order online. As the project is in the pre-operational stage, it is currently making a small profit. "We break even." Chen Shao Kai said.
Predicament cold chain logistics technology is not perfect project is difficult to land
"Our project has been running for about six months, I think the biggest problem that exists now is the cold chain logistics technology is not perfect." As a sophomore, Chen Shaokai's concern and research on agricultural electrification is no less than that of his seasoned peers. He and several of his classmates took Zhongshan as the first stop for conducting CSA resource integration, and conducted comparisons and analyses. They believe that the decentralized and small-scale agricultural production and operation methods have led to a low level of agricultural industrialization. Therefore, moving towards e-commerce and expanding sales channels is the key to future agribusiness development.
In the process of entering e-commerce, traditional industries will face various challenges. Chen Shao Kai believes that the biggest difficulty in the e-commerce of fresh agricultural products is the imperfection of the cold chain logistics industry. "CSA Alliance is committed to creating a boutique route that integrates the agricultural industry chain with eco-tourism, but at present the agricultural industry chain is not fully formed, most of the planted vegetables, subject to seasonal and organic constraints, a single planting of agricultural products, the consumer often receives the same dishes for several weeks in a row, and the old dishes have not been eaten, and the new dishes are arriving, which is prone to the waste of vegetables. " Chen Shao Kai said.
This is a problem that has also been encountered at the Garden 5+2 Life Center. "Garden 5 + 2" has established a supply base for agricultural products, and its offline point of sale is called "our era". According to the person in charge, Zhang Xujian, from October last year to run so far, there are already 520 fixed individual members and 50 corporate members. Zhang Xujian said, at the end of this month, their WeChat store officially online. In the future, will further improve the distribution chain, with the help of e-commerce platform to broaden the marketing channels, so that fresh agricultural products through e-commerce to cover the world.
