Yuzhai Township is located in the northwest of Pujiang County, bordering Yantou, Qili, Hangping and Dafan in the southeast and Yaocun Township in jiande city in the west, covering an area of 58.87 square kilometers, including 5,876 mu of cultivated land and 66,681 mu of forest. There is a famous Maling scenic spot in the territory. The whole countryside governs 19 administrative villages with a total population of 9173. The township is named after the original resident Yuzhai Village. In 1971, the Township People's Government moved to Shangtang, southwest of Yuzhai Village. It is 11.5 kilometers away from Puyang Town, the county seat, and 211 provincial highways, 811 county highways and external water highways run through 13 administrative villages in the township, with convenient transportation. It is a mountainous township with comprehensive development of agriculture, industry and trade.
