Why is it that even hot pots are now divided into "grades"?

Because the hot pot industry is highly competitive. It is understood that there are more than 50,000 hotpot restaurants of different sizes and characteristics in Chongqing, with more than 2 million direct employees. However, due to the low threshold of the hotpot industry, there are many problems. In order to standardize hotpot enterprises, the Hotpot Association has formulated the Chongqing Hotpot Restaurant Classification and Grading Standards (hereinafter referred to as the Standards). It is understood that the "standard" is a local standard, mainly with reference to the national standard "restaurant and hotel grading regulations" and the Ministry of Commerce "catering enterprise business service norms", combined with the characteristics of Chongqing hot pot industry and adapt to the principle of long-term development of the hot pot industry.

According to the Hotpot Association, the current grading system is divided into four levels, namely, high-grade stores, first-class stores, second-class stores and third-class stores, and strictly stipulates the corresponding conditions for each level in terms of technology, service, quality, decoration and equipment. Industry insiders said the development of the Standard can better guide the standardization of food and beverage enterprises to achieve staggered development. It is easier for the public to recognize the grade of hot pot.

Hotpot is not only delicious food, but also contains connotations of food culture. The earliest history of hotpot can be traced back to the Eastern Han Dynasty (there is also a theory that it was during the Three Kingdoms period or the Sui and Yang Di period), so hotpot has a long history for the Chinese. When eating hot pot, men and women, old and young, relatives and friends gather around the steaming hot pot, hugging and holding chopsticks. The warm and harmonious atmosphere is full of coziness, suitable for the traditional Chinese culture of reunion.

From the cultural habits of Chinese people, they have strong social attributes. In this society, no matter what they do, Chinese people like to make friends. The Chinese especially appreciate the dinner party way of eating, and going out to eat is a vivid picture. There is nothing more lively than a hot pot.
