There are two algorithms for labor productivity:
(1) direct labor productivity algorithm: calculated according to the number of products or sales volume produced per unit time, that is, labor productivity of industrial enterprises = product quantity/production time, and labor productivity of commercial enterprises = sales volume/sales volume.
(2) The inverse algorithm of labor productivity: it is calculated by the unit man-hours consumed by workers in producing unit products, that is, labor productivity = production time/production quantity of products. Note: The greater the value of the direct algorithm, the more products are produced per unit time, and the higher the labor productivity. The smaller the result of the inverse algorithm, the less man-hours it takes to produce a product, and of course the higher the labor productivity.
Labor productivity refers to the ratio of labor achievements created by workers in a certain period of time to their corresponding labor consumption. The level of labor productivity can be expressed by the number of products produced by the same labor in unit time. The more products produced per unit time, the higher the labor productivity; It can also be expressed by the labor time consumed in producing unit products. The less labor time required to produce a unit product, the higher the labor productivity. The ability or efficiency of specific labor to produce and use value.
The level of labor productivity can be expressed by the number of products produced by the same labor in unit time. The more products produced per unit time, the higher the labor productivity, and vice versa; It can also be expressed by the labor time consumed in producing unit products: the less socially necessary labor time, the higher labor productivity, and vice versa. Total labor productivity refers to the average product output per employee per unit time calculated according to the product value index.
It is an important index to evaluate the economic activities of enterprises, and it is a comprehensive embodiment of the production technology level, management level, technical proficiency of employees and labor enthusiasm of enterprises. The labor productivity of the whole society in China is calculated by dividing the industrial added value of industrial enterprises by the average number of all employees in the same period. The calculation formula is: total labor productivity = industrial added value/average number of employees.
