main responsibilities:

1. implement the national laws, regulations, principles and policies on education examination and enrollment, formulate specific measures and methods for education examination and enrollment in this province, and organize their implementation.

2. compile and organize the implementation of the annual enrollment plan for colleges and universities, organize the implementation of college enrollment, and guide and coordinate the enrollment work of various localities and universities.

3. Organize and implement educational examinations such as the entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities in this province (including the unified examination subjects and optional examination subjects), the entrance examination for adult colleges and universities, the entrance examination for postgraduate students, the self-study examination for higher education, the academic level examination for ordinary senior high schools, the vocational skills examination and various social examinations, guide the educational examinations in various localities and universities, and be specifically responsible for the management of the self-study examination and various examination candidates.

4. To be responsible for guiding and managing the social aid institutions for self-study exams in the whole province, reviewing and evaluating the self-study exam aid institutions and issuing academic certificates for self-study exams, and building the specialty of self-study exams and the student-aid counseling system.
