Haining is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province, south of Jiaxing City, south of Hangjiahu Plain in the Yangtze River Delta and on the north bank of Qiantang River. It is a famous historical and cultural city with a total area of 699.92 square kilometers and a total population of 641,111.
