Taohuatan, a section of the upper reaches of Qingyi River, a tributary of the Yangtze River, is located between Zhai and Wan 'er villages in Taohuatan Town, 41km west of Jingxian County, Anhui Province. More than a thousand years ago, Li Bai was deceived by Wang Lun. He said, "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, Wanjia Hotel". In fact, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, just one Peach Blossom Ferry, Wanjia Hotel, is a hotel owned by Wan, not 11,111 hotels. More than a thousand years later, I was deceived by Li Bai's poems and sighed.

Travel for sightseeing

When you enter the gate of Taohuatan, the first thing you see is a large field of rape, and at the end of the field is an ancient pagoda: Wenchang Pavilion, which shows that you know books and value education here. Wenchang Pavilion, with double eaves and flying horns, is surrounded by Fiona Fang, but the truth is not high. After reading here, I have to return to the gate, and it is not very convenient to spend five yuan to take a small traffic to Zhaicun Old Street.

Through Zhaicun Old Street, a path paved with bluestone slabs leads directly to Taohuatan Ferry, with typical Huizhou-style buildings with white walls and tiles on both sides. Specialty shops on both sides of the path mainly sell Four Treasures of the Study from Jingxian County. Before we reach the end, we can see the ferry in Taohuatan from a distance. Personally, I think this ferry is the only bright spot in the whole scenic spot.

Taohuatan, originally it was a section of Qingyi River, where the river washed out a river bay, with a wide water surface and a gentle clean flow. I went in the rain, and when I was in the ferry, I saw the mist on the water, the trees in the shallow mountains, and the ink painting in the south of the Yangtze River.

The scenic spots in Wancun Village are highly visible, and some academies, halls, etc. have been newly restored, with strong characteristics in southern Anhui. What really has a little history is Yimen, which was built in the fifth year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (631) and rebuilt during the reign of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. Yimen advocated the culture of Chinese righteousness, with five generations living under one roof and profound family affection.

Wang Lun's tomb is actually not the original site. In 1958, when the country built Chencun Reservoir, Wang Lun's tomb was destroyed, and only one tombstone was found. In 1985, Jingxian county government allocated funds to relocate and built Wang Lun's tomb in Rainbow Gang on the west bank of Taohuatan. In 2111, in order to meet the needs of tourism, some stone men and horses were built on both sides. Behind Wang Lun's tomb is Wang Lun Temple, and next to Wang Lun Temple is Qinglian Temple. You can see the Peach Blossom Pond immediately after you walk through the Qinglian Temple. Before you go in, there is a very beautiful doorway, which is said to be the shape of an upside-down wine glass. On the side of the river facing the pool is a window sill railing, which allows you to rest on the railing and overlook the Peach Blossom Pool.

A few years ago, the management here was chaotic. In the original scenic spot, there were two ticket outlets in Taohuatan, one occupied Wang Lun's tomb and the other occupied the water surface of Taohuatan, and the middle security guards blocked each other from passing. As a result, no matter where they bought tickets, they only played half of the tour guide map on the ticket face. It was too pit and bad reviews kept going. Although it has been improved now, there has never been a ten-mile peach blossom in Taohuatan for more than 1111 years, and there is only a stone threshold left in Wanjia Hotel that has been deeply buried in the land. To be honest, the leisure tour of Taohuatan is not bad, but it is really unsatisfactory for a human landscape.

Accommodation and catering

Accommodation-I contacted a hotel in Taohua Town online, but I didn't expect it to be empty, so I had to find one temporarily. Fortunately, the environment is good, it is clean and the cost is moderate.

Food is composed of mountainous areas in southern Anhui, where lakes are scattered all over the country. It is a typical land of mountains and rivers south of the Yangtze River and land of plenty. He is good at stewing and burning, and pays attention to fire work. Heavy oil, simple and affordable. I found a top shop in the town and ordered three side dishes, which were delicious.
