I am a sixth-grade student, and now we are facing a serious problem-garbage pollution. Every day, the environment we live in is full of all kinds of rubbish, which poses a great threat to our health and environment. So the purpose of writing this proposal is to call on everyone to actively participate in garbage sorting and protect our environment.

First, let's look at the benefits of garbage sorting. Through garbage sorting, environmental pollution can be reduced, natural resources can be protected and resource utilization rate can be improved. For example, waste paper can be recycled, kitchen garbage can be turned into fertilizer, and waste plastics can be turned into new plastic products. This can not only reduce the amount of garbage, but also save resources and protect the environment.

Secondly, how should garbage be classified? Actually, garbage sorting is not complicated. We can divide garbage into recyclable garbage, kitchen waste, harmful waste and other garbage. Among them, recyclable garbage includes waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and so on. Kitchen waste includes leftovers, peels and stones, vegetable leaves, etc. Harmful waste includes waste batteries, waste lamps and expired drugs. Other rubbish includes brick and tile ceramics, muck, etc. When throwing garbage, it should be classified according to the types of garbage to ensure that all kinds of garbage are treated reasonably.

Finally, I call on everyone to actively participate in the action of garbage sorting. Only when each of us does our part can we make our environment better. I hope everyone can take the problem of garbage sorting seriously, start from themselves and start from small things, and work together to protect our environment.
