Jixi spicy, also known as cold noodles, is developed from Korean traditional spicy because it cannot be separated from cold noodles.
Koreans used to have only a few kinds of spicy pickles (also called Beijing pickles), and Jixi cold noodle dishes are mainly spicy, with more than 50 kinds. Common vegetables, meat and seafood can be eaten, and the basic taste is one: spicy.

Now there are smart bosses who register under the name of "super cold noodles" and implement exclusive trademarks. The cold noodle business has also dispelled modern consciousness, and some have also introduced Korean cold noodles. At present, there are nearly 500 restaurants with cold noodles as the main flavor in Jixi, with annual sales exceeding 654.38 billion yuan and profits and taxes exceeding 20 million yuan. The Korean people in Jixi also make use of the advantages of "popularity, geography, kinship, and resources" to constantly sing the Korean people's daily diet brands, such as Jilin Township in Jidong County and Yongfeng Township in Chengzihe District around Jixi, taking the Korean people's daily diet and ordinary snacks as large-scale characteristic industries, forming a characteristic catering industry with cold noodles, spicy dishes, dog meat and fish pots, and selling a homemade rice wine. These cold noodle shops, which are concentrated in rural areas, have strong radiation and become new places for city people to eat cold noodles.
