Do you need to do an environmental assessment to open a restaurant? What is the basis?

When opening a hotel, an environmental assessment should be made. According to Article 175 of the Catalogue for Classified Management of Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects, report forms should be made for six reference stoves and above in catering places/environmentally sensitive areas, and other registration forms should be made.

Environmentally sensitive areas refer to all kinds of natural and cultural protection sites established according to law, and areas that are particularly sensitive to certain pollution factors or ecological impact factors of construction projects. It mainly includes: areas with residence, health care, culture and education, scientific research, administrative office, cultural relics protection units, and protected areas with special historical, cultural, scientific and national significance.
