Air
Beijing Capital International Airport is located in Shunyi District in the northeast of the city, about 30 kilometers away from the city. The Capital Airport is the first airport in China with three terminals, three runways and twin towers in operation at the same time. Railway
Beijing is the hub of the national railroad, ****there are 6 passenger train stations.
Beijing Railway Station is located at No. 13, A, Maojiawan Hutong, Dongcheng District, and can be reached by subway or many buses. Beijing Station is a national railroad passenger station of special class, mainly taking charge of passenger transportation on the Jingshan, Jingqin, Beijing-Shanghai, Jingcheng, Jingyuan, and Jingbao lines, as well as international and international intermodal passenger trains to Pyongyang, Ulan Bator, and Moscow.
Beijing West Railway Station is located at No. 19 Guanglian Road, Fengtai District, and can be accessed from the city by taking Subway Line 1 and getting off at the Military Museum Station. Beijing North Railway Station is Xizhimen Railway Station, which can be reached by taking subway line 2 and getting off at Xizhimen Station. Beijing cabs start at 10 yuan/3 kilometers, and after more than 3 kilometers, it's 2 yuan/kilometer, and the waiting time is charged at every 5 minutes by 1km, and if traveling one way, 50% of the empty fare is added for more than 15km. Bus
Bus fares are RMB 1 in the city and RMB 1 in the suburbs, with additional fares of RMB 0.5 or RMB 1 depending on the distance traveled, and air-conditioned buses are more expensive than regular vehicles. It is recommended to apply for a public transportation card, which offers a large discount and is easy to use.

Bicycles
Bicycles are available for rent in many of Beijing's major hotels for around 20 to 30 yuan a day. For a more thorough understanding of Beijing, rent a semi-new bike and then you'll be able to navigate the hutongs and alleyways of the city center to your heart's content.

Tourist Trains
Tourist trains depart regularly from Beijing's several train stations to attractions on the outskirts of the city. Tickets for holiday excursion trains can be purchased at Beijing Railway Station, Beijing North Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing Railway International Travel Agency. Tourists can buy tickets for tourist attractions at the designated ticketing locations of the railroad, and there is no need to buy tickets again when they arrive at the scenic spots. With the tickets, they can take free rides on excursion trains departing from Beijing Railway Station, Beijing North Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station.
Subway
Beijing has Subway Line 1, Subway Line 2, Subway Line 5, Subway Batong Line, and Subway Line 13 (light rail). Line 1 starts from Apple Park in the west and goes to Sihui East Station in the east; Line 2 passes through Xizhimen, Fuxingmen, Hepingmen, Qianmen, and Beijing Railway Station; and the Batong Line runs from Sihui to Tuqiao. The first train is usually at 5:00 a.m., and the last train is around 23:00 p.m. Fares are a flat 718 yuan, with no discount on the one-card.
