Danjiang River is a major river in Shangluo Mountain area, which originates from Fenghuang Mountain in Heilongkou, Shangzhou, meanders for hundreds of miles in the mountains, leaves Shaanxi for business via Nanyue Bay, enters Xunxian County, Hubei Province from Jingzi, Henan Province, and flows into the Han River, with a total length of 443 kilometers and a wooden boat voyage of 293 kilometers.

Before the founding of New China, Danjiang was the transportation artery of north-south traffic. Merchants in Shangzhou loaded raw lacquer, tung oil, chestnut, fungus and cowhide from the mountains, and then sent cloth, paper, iron pots and hookahs back to Longju Village. Every day, Dan Jiangdu is crowded with people, rocking boats, pulling fibers and riding boats.

In the past, Danjiang was not only a commercial artery, but also a political and military artery. Han and Liu Bang entered the customs by passers-by from Danjiang, and destroyed Qin. Li Zicheng attacked Jingxiang via Danjiang River, which strengthened his power and overthrew the Ming Dynasty. Later, due to the opening of 3 12 national highway, the river suddenly dropped, and Danjiang became desolate and lonely.

With the vigorous rise of tourism in Shangnan, Danjiang has regained its youth, and Danjiang rafting has become a new tourism project in Shangnan. In 2002, the Shangnan County Party Committee and the county government officially developed the Danjiang River rafting in the section of Nantaiji River passing through the wind tower, and the first phase of the section from Taiji River to Bijiawan was officially opened to the public on July 2003 10, with a total length of about 300 miles. Located in the middle and lower reaches of the Danjiang River, it has a large flow and rapid water flow, with overlapping mountains on both sides and picturesque scenery. People walk on the water, boats walk in the picture, and there are nine bays along the way, such as nine bends and ileum, with different scenery and different bays. The boatman skillfully paddles the rubber raft while telling you the magical and beautiful legend along the Danjiang River. When he is happy, he will sing an ancient and desolate boatman in a melodious and high-pitched tone. Besides, Guo Shan Road passes by the river, and the traffic is developed, so tourists can stay and walk, and come and go freely. Here, it is adjacent to the approximate Grand Canyon. After swimming the approximate gorge, you can take a raft down the Danjiang River at the exit and enjoy another landscape flavor.

At present, Danjiang Drifting has invested180,000 yuan, and built the antique reception building (multi-functional complex building) on the upper pier, the resort hotel on the lower pier (two-star hotel, foreign-related tourist attractions) and Longtoushan scenic spot. Holiday Inn has standard rooms (60 sets), ordinary rooms (6 sets), dining room (8 rooms in 1 hall, which can accommodate 150 people at the same time), professional conference hall (which can accommodate 80 people), ballroom, beauty salon, tea show and so on. There are fishing, picnics, teahouses, film screenings, bonfire parties and other activities in Longtou Mountain Scenic Area. Guanyin Bodhisattva Temple was built on the top of Longtou Mountain, with an investment of nearly one million yuan. Statues such as the golden body of Bodhisattva were carved from Hong Kong for tourists to climb and worship. After more than four years of construction and operation, Danjiang rafting has become a comprehensive tourism project integrating natural rafting, adventure rafting, catering and accommodation, conference and entertainment, sightseeing and shopping, and has become the first rafting in northwest China.
