Brief introduction of Zhongyuan pagoda
Zhongyuan Fengtai (English: Zhongyuan Building), also known as Henan Radio and Television Tower, is a directly affiliated enterprise of Henan Radio and Television Station, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a key project in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan and a landmark building in Henan Province. Won the 20 12 Zhan Tianyou Award of China Civil Engineering. Located at the intersection of Hanghai East Road and Airport Expressway in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. The tower is the highest all-steel TV transmission tower in the world, and it is a commercial, artistic and cultural center integrating radio and television transmission, tourism, cross-border e-trade, exhibition of famous paintings, cultural entertainment, catering and leisure. The tower is 388 meters high and is the tallest all-steel structure building in the world. Zhongyuan Fengtai is near Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport in the south, Zhengzhou East Railway Station, the only high-speed railway hub station in Asia running at 350 kilometers per hour in the east, and CBD business district in Zhengdong New District in the north. Subway, bus and light rail are seamlessly connected. The tower was designed by Tongji University Architectural Design and Research Institute with a total investment of 836 million yuan. The tower is 388 meters high, of which the main tower is 268 meters high, the mast is 120 meters high, and the total weight of steel structure is about16,000 tons, ranking first among all-steel TV towers in the world, higher than Tokyo Tower (333 meters) and Eiffel Tower (32 1 meter) of similar structures in Japan. Zhongyuan Fengtai won the 20 12 Zhan Tianyou Award of China Civil Engineering. The tower can launch more than 40 sets of radio and television programs, effectively covering 36 million people within a radius of 120 km, providing high-quality radio and television programs for Zhengzhou and surrounding rural areas, and for building a harmonious Central Plains and enriching people's spiritual and cultural life.
