1. After determining the company type, name, registered capital, shareholders and contribution ratio, you can submit an application for name verification at the industrial and commercial bureau on site or online. After the name is verified, the address information, senior management information and business scope can be confirmed. After the online pre-trial is passed, you can submit the application materials to the industrial and commercial bureau according to the appointment time, bring the Notice of Approval of Establishment Registration and the original ID card of the handler, and get the original and copy of the business license from the industrial and commercial bureau.

2. To apply for a food production license, the following materials shall be submitted to the local food and drug supervision and administration department at or above the county level where the applicant is located:

(1) application for food business license;

(2) a copy of the business license or other qualification documents;

(3) Documents such as the layout of major equipment and facilities, operation procedures and so on that are suitable for food business;

(4) food safety self-inspection, employee health management, incoming inspection records, food safety accident handling and other rules and regulations to ensure food safety.

Legal basis: Article 2 of the Measures for the Administration of Food Business License.

Engaged in food sales and catering services in People's Republic of China (PRC), shall obtain a food business license according to law.

These Measures shall apply to the application, acceptance, examination, decision, supervision and inspection of food business license.

Article 9

To apply for a food business license, one should first obtain the qualifications of a legal subject such as a business license.

Enterprise legal person, partnership enterprise, sole proprietorship enterprise, individual industrial and commercial households, etc. The applicant is the subject specified in the business license.

For canteens of government agencies, institutions, social organizations, private non-enterprise units, enterprises and other tendering units, the applicant shall be the subject specified in the registration certificate or business license of the registration certificate of government agencies, institutions and social organizations as legal persons.
