: Water Lotus used to be called Dong Peng. I heard many praises about water lilies from my friends, even fairyland on earth. I also saw many friends sharing photos of water lilies, which attracted me every time, but I have never been there. On the last day of the May Day holiday, when I was at home, I decided to drive to Shuilianshan Forest Park to experience this place, which has been called one of the eight scenic spots in Dongguan since the Ming Dynasty.
Shuilianshan Forest Park gives people the impression of beautiful scenery. It is different from Daling Mountain and Yinping Mountain in the scenic area, because water can be felt everywhere here, such as Hu Shuilian, Tianchi Mountain, water curtain cave Dome, hiking trails in streams, water curtain waterfalls and so on, so everyone can come here.
Brief Introduction of Dongguan Shuilian Mountain Forest Park
Every time I go to a new scenic spot, everyone plays differently. This is my first time to go to Shuilian Forest Park, so it's more casual. The happy world at the entrance of the scenic spot is naturally unattractive to people like me who like mountains and rivers. It was very hot that day, the highest temperature was 32 degrees Celsius, but when I got off the bus, I couldn't feel the so-called hot feeling at all. All I can feel is the coolness in the shade, just like sitting at home with the fan on.
The main roads in the scenic area are basically surrounded by trees, so walking on the road is under the shade of trees and will not be directly exposed to the sun. Although it is a May Day holiday, there are not many tourists in the scenic spot. As always, no more, no less, just right. Tourists, enjoy their own happiness alone. I also started my journey of water lotus with my own feelings.
Water curtain cave Tian
As soon as you enter the scenic spot, you can see the archway, which says "Water Curtain Cave". The first impression of these four words is actually not so clear, but I can probably imagine the meaning, that is, the scenery of Shuilian Mountain has a unique cave, which also refers to Shuilian Waterfall, which flows down from the mountain like a water curtain and is magnificent. Seeing so many waterfalls, I can basically imagine the scenery, so I am looking forward to this trip.

Walking along this road, the first scenic spot you arrive at is the Li Anquan Pavilion, which is located halfway up the mountain. Li Security Department is a three-story building nearly 20 meters high, supported by 48 columns. Its decoration is simple. It can be said that there are not many characteristics and the history is not long. It follows the rules, but under the blue sky and white clouds, in the mountain jungle, there will be some unique features. There is little introduction about Li 'an Security Museum, and there is no special explanation, so personally, it exists to enjoy the scenery of Shuiquan Lake at the foot of the mountain. Sometimes, that's it. Not necessarily because it has attractive characteristics, but because its existence reflects other beauty. The role of the security museum is like this.

Li Baoan Museum has no special features, but it allows visitors to enjoy very beautiful scenic spots, lush jungles on the mountains, flowers that bloom occasionally, and several pavilions, which are enviable. How happy it is to live in such a place. And when you go to the attic and overlook the scenery below the mountain, you will be attracted by the scenery in front of you. This is a natural sculpture, unique and lush, and its mountain spring reflects the moon, just like a fairyland on earth. It is also unreasonable to be called "little Penglai outside the city" by Chen, the left assistant minister of the Ming Dynasty.
My favorite is the small pavilion in the lake, where people can sit and rest, draw pictures and listen to music. This kind of scenery also reminds me of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Many people may say that it is not as good as Hangzhou West Lake, but its scenery reminds me of Hangzhou West Lake, so the scenery here is really extraordinary.

We all look forward to having such a home, which is located by the lake and next to the jungle. It's wonderful to wake up from the melodious jungle birds every day, sit on the balcony, have a cup of tea, read books and see the scenery in the lake. After dinner, my family and I walked by the lake and enjoyed the sunset and its afterglow. How beautiful.
At this moment, I think of Tao Yuanming's words, "Pick chrysanthemums under the east fence and see Nanshan leisurely." Isn't the so-called poetic life, therefore, this trip is actually enough to appreciate such scenery. We don't have to pursue more beautiful scenery, but immerse ourselves in the scenery that you can appreciate and touch your heart, which is convenient enough.

On the quiet hiking route, it is far more than a day in water curtain cave.
Every time I climb a different mountain, I feel different. Before climbing Yinping Mountain, the first peak in Dongguan, the only goal is to climb to the top. The only goal of climbing Mount Tai is sunrise and sea of clouds, and the only goal of climbing Mount Heng is Zhurongfeng. Because the purpose of climbing is too clear, the scenery and feelings in the process of climbing are ignored. There are not many targets for climbing the water lotus mountain this time, but it will be more natural, with the emphasis on trails.
When starting from the ancient temple square, I chose the hiking route on the right. It doesn't look so attractive, but it feels a little deserted. When I started climbing the mountain, I was a little scared. It's too quiet to be welcome. I'm alone. This worry lasted for a long time, because I soon heard the voices of tourists, which proved that the road was not deserted, but there were fewer people. Sometimes, being too quiet makes people feel uneasy.
On the way, we also saw a sculpture, which is the sculpture of Chen Lian, the left assistant minister of the Ritual Department of the Ming Dynasty. Chen Lian, whose real name is Ting Qi, didn't .. whose director Qin Xuan is from Jingtou Village, Qiaotou, houjie town. I like to write poems and songs after work, and I am also called "Little Ouyang" by the people. This celebrity is famous for his literature. He is good at painting and calligraphy. His works include "Returning to the Field" and "Qin". However, everyone is familiar with the song "water curtain cave", which praises the water lotus: there are natural pictures in the small Penglai outside the city. From the shadow of flowers, people come from Liu Yin. Ancient caves contain smoke and water, and historical sites corrode rain and moss. Chen, a white-headed Taoist priest, is reluctant to leave here. In such a quiet place, his sculpture is actually telling us that we have not come to the wrong place. So, I prefer it here.
When I saw the figure of tourists, it was already in Shuilian Cave. There are two pavilions of different sizes, where visitors can enjoy the small pool under the cliff. There are turtles and small fish in the pool. However, I didn't see the landscape of Shuilian Cave, because Shuilian Waterfall is not here. I hope Shuilian Waterfall will be more vivid here. If there were waterfalls here, the water in the pool would be much clearer and not as turbid as it is now. I wonder if the water here will be clearer with more days in summer. But maybe it's the characteristics of the mountain, which is primitive and there are not many deliberate traces. Isn't going into nature just to appreciate the pictures of nature?
Compared with the scenery in the water curtain cave, I prefer the pavilion by the pool, because its existence is very cleverly designed, one is the end of the pool, and the other is the intersection of the trails. This is a foothold and a starting point, giving people a kind of hope and pressure. I think the people who designed this exhibition hall feel the same way. It's like our life. Sometimes you think it's over, but it's just the beginning. The most important significance of the pavilion is to shelter passers-by, but not only that, it also has the functions of watching, welcoming and inspiring.

Another surprise is that the whole trail leading to Tianchi is downstream. You can not only hear melodious birds singing, but also hear the crisp sound of water. On the way, I met a child who kept saying to his mother, Mom, I want to drink mountain spring water. Then I have been looking for clearer water there. He was very touched when he saw the bottle in his hand, which was full of mountain spring water, and then looked after it as a treasure. What a happy thing it is for a child. His mother guides the child in her own way, so that he can have closer contact with nature. Maybe this is the beauty of this place. The mountains and water here are beautiful, so people who come here can enjoy every bit of them.

The Tianchi in my impression has a wide field of vision, such as Changbai Mountain Tianchi and Tianshan Tianchi, so I have been looking forward to witnessing Shuilian Tianchi with my own eyes. The water along the way is basically Tianchi. Coming to Tianchi is not as shocking as before, but it has an extraordinary sense of peace. Because it is in the mountains, surrounded by dense trees, like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds and green coast in the sky.
When you stand on the bridge, you can enjoy the whole Tianchi Lake. It's not very big, but you feel different. The small Tianchi Lake will never be exhausted, partly because of the protection of dense forests on the mountain and partly because of the low-lying places on the mountain. Like spring water, it continuously supplies water to the Lotus Lake at the foot of the mountain, nourishing the vegetation on the mountain. It is more like a hidden place in the deep mountains, attracting many literati to come here to find inspiration and enjoy this tranquility and elegance.
The tranquility of Tianchi
More notably, there are two black swans in Tianchi. They swim freely in the swimming pool. Sometimes, you will see it stop by the pool and talk quietly. Just like a couple, they are enjoying the scenery here and are not influenced by the people around them. Sometimes, you will see them swim to the middle of the lake together and show their dances there, as if to tell us, welcome to Shuilian Tianchi and enjoy our performance.
Every time I see a black swan, I think of a time when my teacher told us that many people know white swans and think that all swans in the world are white. But this is not the case. Not all swans are white, but there are black swans. This also tells us not to rely on our own cognition to affirm things in the world, because the world is really big, and we need to constantly expand our knowledge in order to have a better understanding of the world.

A city, many times, we can appreciate its noise, but rarely see its smallness from a height. I have been in Dongguan for many years, and I have never really stood on a high place overlooking the city of Dongguan. In Shenzhen, you can climb Jingji 100 to overlook Shenzhen, in Tianjin, you can climb TV Tower to overlook Tianjin, and in Guangzhou, you can climb Guang Zhouta to overlook Guangzhou. On the Shuilian Pavilion at the top of Shuilian Mountain, I can overlook Dongguan. You don't need to spend money to see the city, and you feel naturally satisfied.
The Shuilian Pavilion, located at the highest point of Shuilian Mountain, is more tasteful than the Li 'an Pavilion halfway up the mountain and blends in with the blue sky. How many people came to Shuilian, hoping to record its most beautiful moment. And the first time I went, I could enjoy such a wonderful moment. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many literati came here to compose poems.
Although the top of Shuilian Mountain is only 378 meters above sea level, it is unique when you look down at Shuilian Pavilion. Perhaps, it is the sentence in the humble room inscription by Liu Yuxi, a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. Mountains are not named after immortals, and water is not named after dragons. Here, you can see different scenery from any angle, such as high-rise buildings, beautiful water lilies, green mountains and Sha Tong Ecological Park in the distance.
From a distance, you can see the quiet side of the city, but in fact, the city is very noisy and busy. Therefore, at this time, the scenery you see in the city will make you fascinated and never tire of seeing it. You will suddenly realize why the water lotus is called the "back garden" of the city by the citizens, because it exudes infinite charm of harmony between man and nature.

I believe that when night comes, you can see thousands of lights in Dongguan. The blooming neon lights will surely illuminate the whole city and weave another beauty of the city. Both the scenery in the daytime and the scenery at night constitute the scenery of the city. Maybe one day, I will board here again. I hoped it was at night. I want to see the night view of this city and enjoy another kind of scenery.
Besides its beautiful scenery, water lilies actually have many cultural colors to feel and explore. For example, the ancient temple square, garden garden and little Penglai Pavilion in Xishan Ancient Temple Museum. But at present, some places are not open to the public because of the epidemic.
However, in any case, you can still feel the uniqueness and beauty here, and you are satisfied. Therefore, Shuilian Forest Park must be a place worth visiting among the tourist attractions in Dongguan. I didn't find it before, but now I finally witnessed its color. I believe I will appreciate its beauty again in the future.
Brief Introduction of Dongguan Shuilian Mountain Forest Park
1. Transportation: There is a parking lot at the entrance of Shuilian Scenic Area, which is charged on time. I stopped for an afternoon and spent 7.5 yuan. If you want to go by bus, there is a bus to the gate of Shuilian Mountain Scenic Area.
2. Route: Shuilian has four climbing paths. I suggest you climb the mountain from Route 3, including Shuilian Cave and Tianchi, and then go directly to Shuilian Pavilion. Get off the bus and go to the ancient temple square. From yolanda, you can go to Xiao Penglai, stroll along the lake, or take a boat trip to the lake. At night, you can see the sunset.
3. Equipment and dry food: The climbing route of water lilies is actually not very steep, and they are all in the dense forest. They don't need much personal equipment, but they can bring some water. There are amusement parks and water parks next to the scenic spot. Visitors who like to play with water can bring their own swimsuits and caps.
4. Tickets: free rock climbing, other cruise ships, horseback riding, amusement parks, etc. All at your own expense.
