Henan Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as Hegong), located in Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is a provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, and is an advanced national employment unit, a typical graduate employment experience college, a demonstration applied technology undergraduate college in Henan Province, and a model of civilized campus in Henan Province. By June 2121, the school had more than 1,111 teaching and administrative staff, covering an area of 1,221 mu, and the school building area was more than 561,111 square meters. The school has 15 colleges (departments) and 36 undergraduate majors, forming characteristic disciplines such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy materials, cable engineering, etc., and initially constructing a discipline and professional system with engineering as the mainstay and five disciplines of engineering, management, economics, literature and art developing in harmony. There are 1 provincial key laboratories and 11 provincial engineering (technical) centers. [1]

Henan Institute of Technology was founded in 1975 [1], formerly known as Henan College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2116, it was upgraded to an ordinary undergraduate college and renamed Henan Institute of Technology.
