Mastering any foreign language in 6 months. Through experimental research, Mr. Long Feihu found that adults can not only master foreign languages fluently, but also learn faster than children.
In order to prove his point and realize his dream of learning China Wushu, he came to China at the age of 21. He started to learn from scratch, mastered all aspects of Chinese skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing in six months, and was able to live, study and make friends independently in China. At the age of 25, he left Chinese mainland for Hongkong because of his visa. He mastered the standard and authentic Cantonese from scratch in four months with his original TheThirdEar foreign language learning method.
in his years of experience in high-level business meetings, he found that almost all multinational companies have various communication problems, especially language communication barriers. This is the root cause of misunderstanding by many multinational companies, which even leads to the company's development being blocked and huge economic losses. On the advice of many clients, colleagues and friends, Mr. Long Feihu combined the achievements of many years' research with cutting-edge psychology and linguistics to create TheThirdEar Foreign Language Learning Method, which was first published in 2116.
Fame experience
Nowadays, students who use TheThirdEar learning method are distributed all over the world. Native English speakers from the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Britain and other countries have mastered fluent foreign languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish through self-study for six months to zero years after using the foreign language learning method advocated by TheThirdEar. Today, there are many adults in China who use TheThirdEar foreign language learning method and learn English through THIRDARD, such as business people, private enterprise bosses, senior managers, college students, white-collar workers and so on. Through Kung Fu English, they learn all the qualities and skills they need to master English. As the core textbook of Kung Fu English, TheThirdEar not only helps students learn English, but also helps them master the skills of learning any foreign language quickly, communicating effectively and so on.
Now, Mr. Long Feihu is gradually integrating various resources accumulated over the years. When Kung Fu English becomes a household name in China, it will effectively help everyone to learn by themselves. And all kinds of high-quality skills self-study tools, self-leadership and self-growth self-study tools will also be launched accordingly.
growing experience
early years
Long Feihu (formerly known as ChrisLonsdale) was born in Belfast, a small town near Christchurch on the South Island. His father immigrated to New Zealand from England in 1951s, and he was an engineer, while his mother was a housewife.
At the age of five, he entered the only primary school in Belfast. At that time, he found it difficult to read English, and his reading ability was worse than other children. But after simple Phonics training and attractive story books, his reading ability began to improve gradually.
When he was seven or eight years old, he became more and more fond of reading books. He spent a lot of time in fairy tales every day, and he especially liked adventure and conspiracy stories.
Since he learned to ride a bike, he has borrowed books from the nearby public library by cycling for three to four kilometers almost every week, borrowing five or six books each time, and then taking them home to study deeply! In this stage of study, Long Feihu can gradually understand and study more and more profound and extensive contents.
When he was about ten years old, he was already reading science fiction (his favorite story type) and many books on anthropology, potential science and psychology. One of his most memorable peaks was when he was 11 years old. Because he was interested in sleeplearning, he wrote to the psychologists who studied this field in the Soviet Union, hoping that they could send the research report in this field. This is one of the major achievements of Mr. Long Feihu in his early years.
In addition to reading books, since he lives next to the countryside, Long Feihu has had the opportunity to feel the charm of nature since he was a child, and he can often get in touch with nature. This gives him an opportunity to infiltrate the laws of nature into his nervous system, so he will pay attention to the essence and internal laws of everything he meets in his life, and try his best to make the projects and things conform to the laws of nature.
Because his family was not rich when he was a child, Long Feihu had the motivation to work and earn money very early. At the age of eleven, he went to the garage in the town to apply for a job. As a result, the boss was moved by his sincerity and gave him a job. So every Saturday, he will clean the garage floor. He persisted in this job for more than three years, during which he earned enough money. So at the age of 14, he bought a used car.
Since he was a child, Long Feihu has been particularly fond of sports. At the age of 11, he began to take part in the school badminton competition, and the year he graduated from primary school, he even won the runner-up. At the age of 11, he also began to enter the martial arts world and began to learn Japanese judo, laying a good foundation for future martial arts study.
Middle School
In p>1972, Long Feihu left Belfast Primary School and entered Kaieboy Middle School. He needed to take the school bus for more than two hours every day to get to and from school. At that time, Kaieboy Middle School was a newly established school, and Long Feihu's class was the only one in the school. Therefore, the students in his class naturally become the highest grade in the school and have been creating a precedent for the school.
Because this is a newly established school, it has no history or fixed culture. Therefore, the first batch of students and teachers naturally took on the heavy responsibility of creating campus culture, which of course brought joy, sorrow and bittersweet.
For a mature school, students' learning directions and courses will be very clear. For example, liberal arts students only study liberal arts, science students only study science, and science students only study science. However, in the year when Long Feihu was studying, the number of students was too small and the number of teachers was too large. Therefore, all students had to take both liberal arts and science courses, and even had the opportunity to take part in science and engineering courses, such as carpentry, cooking and typing. For Long Feihu, this is a great pleasure, because he can get in touch with different fields, exercise different ways of thinking and master more skills. As an adult, he found that the benefits of these experiences far exceeded his imagination.
In p>1972, Long Feihu, who entered middle school, began to learn French. At that time, all the teachers used traditional teaching methods. As a result, he felt that the whole learning process was meaningless and particularly depressed, and he didn't want to continue learning French at all. However, like other subjects, he had to keep learning because of the shortage of students. As a result, after studying for three years, he could hardly speak a word, but he used rote knowledge to cope with the exam and only just passed the exam.
In p>1974, Long Feihu met a particularly important turning point in his life. In that year, his school had a student exchange activity between New Zealand and Tahiti. In the middle of the year, Tahiti will send students to New Zealand, and each of them will live in a different family in New Zealand for about two months, with the aim of learning English well (Tahiti is a French colony and French is the mother tongue). Then, at the end of the year, New Zealand students will arrive in Tahiti and stay with local families for two months, with the aim of learning French well.
Fortunately, Long Feihu's parents agreed to let a Tahiti student live in his home, and also sponsored Long Feihu to live in Tahiti for two months at the end of the year. It can be said that this experience in 1974 broadened Long Feihu's horizons, and at the same time solved the French problem that had troubled him for many years. The Tahiti student who came to live in his home was a tall and handsome boy, and they soon established friendship, which aroused their interest and motivation in learning a foreign language, so they started to communicate with each other from the most basic communication and soon learned some basic daily communication terms.
At the end of p>1974, Long Feihu flew to Tahiti, where he studied French for two months and solved daily communication problems while playing. In the whole process, he finally understood a very important truth. It is that daily communication is not difficult, and there is not much to master. This dispelled his previous psychological resistance to French, allowing him to absorb French into his brain happily and smoothly, just like learning his mother tongue, which helped him open the door to French.
The experience of more than two months in Tahiti is completely superior to the French he has accumulated in many years of class study, which has planted the seeds of new ideas for him in his study methods and helped him in his study. When he came home from Tahiti, he got almost full marks in the French exam for the next two years. He also took part in the French speaking competition of all schools in Christ City and easily won the second place, which was incredible two years ago.
Long Feihu didn't just care about his French when he was in middle school. Before he went to Tahiti, French was definitely not worth considering. In which years, he was more concerned about other issues, and more concerned about cultivating various skills. At that time, his interest in sports and outdoor activities began to increase. Besides studying and reading, he spent the rest of his time participating in different sports or outdoor activities. Although he likes judo very much, because of the teacher's departure, he turned to boxing and went to the gym every week to actively practice boxing. At the same time, he will spare two or three days a week to play squash, and soon he will be able to participate in the competition.
His father also likes all kinds of outdoor activities, so his father and son often go out to explore on weekends, drive up the mountain in winter to find the best skiing place in New Zealand and have a good time for one or two days. In summer, they play jet boats and challenge their sailing skills in the shallow rivers of New Zealand. Long Feihu often goes camping with his classmates in the mountains of New Zealand with backpacks for a few days.
At the same time, Long Feihu's interest in science, psychology, philosophy and other aspects has become more and more intense. Coupled with the solid foundation he has laid for many years, he continued to study anthropology, psychology, philosophy and other aspects besides attending classes and practicing sports. Before the age of 15, he began to have some knowledge and understanding of hypnosis and other aspects.
At this time, his awareness of environmental protection was also ignited.
In fact, Long Feihu's awareness of environmental protection should have been established at the age of five or six, because primary schools at that time often arranged tree planting activities and simply taught some environmental awareness, but it was a trivial matter, and Long Feihu didn't pay much attention to it. Later, as he read more and more books, he began to realize the importance of environmental protection, but the influence of this information on him was far from enough to push him to take any substantive action.
So, at the age of 16, he met a second important turning point that affected his life. At that time, he liked to live a relatively free life, so he often rode his bike to the nearby mountainous areas to get close to nature. When he saw a river, he went fishing there, perhaps swimming in cold water, or basking in the hot sun for a while. Just one day, he decided to swim across the river. The distance between the two banks of the river was about half a kilometer, and the river moved faster, so he had certain physical challenges. He liked the challenge very much, so he jumped into the water and rushed forward. When he almost reached the other side, he suddenly smelled a smell that made him feel uncomfortable. It turned out that there was wastewater discharged from the factory by the river, and he just swam into the polluted stream. At that time, the water was very bad, and even almost brought him life danger.
This incident led to a great change in Long Feihu's awareness of environmental protection. He changed from understanding to essential special concern, and he was determined to make a contribution in this respect. Just then, there was a national article competition in New Zealand, and the topic was exactly related to environmental protection, that is, how to save energy. Long Feihu decided to write an article to take part in the competition based on different scientific topics he studied for many years and his experience in suburban life. As a result, he won the first place in the country! This small victory also had a great influence on him, which made him understand the core truth of "nothing is difficult in the world".
University period
In p>1977, Long Feihu entered a three-year course at the UniversityofCanterbury. In 1979, he was selected for a one-year speeding course because of his excellent academic performance, and at the end of 1981, he got a first-class honorary master's degree in psychology.
During his college years, besides psychology, he studied statistics, chemistry, zoology and computer science, and also had a little exposure to Chinese. However, due to the backward teaching methods, he didn't stick to it after several months. In the third and fourth years, he studied all the psychology courses offered by Canterbury University, including behavioral psychology, cognitive psychology, perceptual psychology, biological psychology, mathematical psychology, social psychology, business psychology, clinical psychology, linguistic psychology and psychophysiology. At that time, he began to discover a very important feature of himself, that is, his ability to integrate across fields. Many people study a topic more easily, and the more they learn, the more detailed they are. But Long Feihu found that he is different at this point. Although he can delve into a topic, he is better at discovering the same laws between different fields, so he integrates them into higher laws and principles. When writing a paper, he got the highest score because he could integrate the theories of memory in cognitive psychology and physiological psychology.
In college, he insisted on pursuing the peak of sports, riding long-distance bicycles to school and home every day, and taking part in squash competitions. In his second year in college, he met new friends, overseas Chinese in Malaysia, and the two quickly became good friends. His friend used to be a black belt and a taekwondo teacher, so Long Feihu entered the circle of taekwondo training and participated in taekwondo sparring competitions many times during his college years. Practicing taekwondo became an important part of his life at that time.
Long Feihu had learned to dive during his college years, so every weekend in the summer for several years, he would drive on the road with his friends and live at the seaside for a few days, diving and fishing, which was the freest and most natural memory.
When he entered the university, Long Feihu got a high school exam because of his excellent performance.
