How to prevent paint pollution in spray booth
(1) Spare parts, paint cans and other sundries should not be placed in the painting room, because these things will accumulate dirt and eventually pollute the vehicles to be painted. Spray guns, paper tapes, putty, car clothes, work clothes and other items should not be stored in an open environment, but should be stored in a closed and ventilated storage room.

(2) After each painting work is completed, the floor and walls of the spray booth should be cleaned, and the covering and other items covering the car body should be cleaned. When painting, try to cover the car body with a disposable cover, and try not to cover the car clothes and wheel covers with cotton, because this kind of car clothes is easy to accumulate dust.

(3) The painted vehicles are usually the biggest pollution source in the painting room. A large number of pollutants will gather in wheels, bumpers and engine compartments, and thorough body cleaning can reduce the impact of these pollutants on painting operations. Therefore, it is very important to prepare for car body cleaning.

(4) The work clothes worn by painting operators are also an important source of pollution. In many repair shops, the work of polishing putty and painting is done by the same person. Many workers wear the same set of work clothes when polishing putty and painting, which is not correct. There should be special work clothes when painting. In the spray booth, you should wear work clothes, rubber gloves, protective mask and respirator (Figure 3) without fiber shedding, and you should always wear them when spraying all painted surfaces. People who don't wear special work clothes are strictly forbidden to enter the spray booth. They can only watch the painting operation from the peephole to avoid polluting the paint.

(5) Except for covering the car body and painting, other car body preparation and painting mixing work should be done outside the painting room. Some repair shops even clean vehicles or polish putty in the paint booth, which seriously violates the operating rules of touch-up paint.

(6) Spraying equipment such as spray guns should be kept clean. After each spraying operation, the spray gun should be cleaned in time to prevent the paint in the spray gun from drying and condensing into blocks. If dry paint chips fly out during spraying, defects will be formed on the paint surface.

(7) When the painting room is working, the ventilator will suck in the outside air and blow it down through the filter cotton on the ceiling of the painting room, and the air will be sucked into the painting room from the floor of the painting room, forming a downward airflow in the painting room, so that even if there is a small amount of dust in the painting room, it will not fly. The filter cotton on the ceiling of the spray booth can filter out most of the dust, thus keeping the air entering the spray booth clean. Therefore, the filter cotton on the ceiling and absorbent cotton on the floor in the painting room should be replaced regularly.

(8) Air entering the spray booth is the main source of pollutants. When the spray booth is not in use, the spray booth door15264181777 should be closed, and it is forbidden to open the spray booth door for a long time. In many repair shops, the polishing of putty is often carried out near the spray booth, and a large amount of dust will be generated in the process of polishing putty, and a large amount of dust such as putty ash can easily enter the spray booth with the flow of air. If putty is polished by dust-free dry grinding technology, the situation will be relatively better. If the putty is polished by hand, the pollution will be very serious. Therefore, in the repair shop, putty grinding should be carried out in an area far away from the spray booth.
