September 2023 to Beijing Universal Studios birthday month play strategy is as follows:
A, into the park and the preparation before entering the park
Universal Studios comes with two very good, but very expensive hotels, respectively, standing in the park gate at the top of the Universal Studios Grand Hotel and the location of the Noggin Resort and Spa. The Noggin Resort and Spa, which is a little to the east and has a more business-like overall picture.
Great, but very expensive. In five simple words, the two hotels in the park are extremely lack of value for money, you can check the prices on Flying Pig, Ctrip and other apps, in fact, even bundled with the park ticket package, the price is usually around 3,000 to 4,000 yuan, more than 50% more than the total price of the hotel outside the park + self-purchased tickets, extremely uneconomical.
The park hotels have the advantage of bringing their own touring plug-ins, and entering the park half an hour early does allow visitors who choose the park hotels to enjoy a high degree of tolerance and comfort in the queuing strategy, as well as in the experience. The problem, however, is that the Universal Studios park is not that big, with its 1.7 square kilometers covering less than half the level of Disney.
Combined with the fact that Disney is so far behind in terms of popularity, queuing is much less harsh, and in fact, as long as you queue up at the gate early enough and strategically, it's easy to get through all the main attractions and shows in one day, and you don't need that extra half hour gain at all.
So it's pretty clear that unless you have a family with a lot of money or you're a lazy person, the park hotels are definitely an option you'll want to consider. As a matter of fact, the hotels around Universal Studios are very well equipped to serve the North Rim, and morning and evening bus/business car transportation is basically standard. Why not get up an hour earlier and walk an extra thousand steps, and save thousands of dollars in start-up costs?
Crowds are not a fatal problem for the Universal Studios experience, and simply getting in early can significantly offset the negative impact of lines. The current Universal Studios opening time is usually scheduled for around 9:30 a.m., but people generally start to be let in at 9:00 a.m., so it's important to arrive at the park gates around 8:00 a.m. to start lining up. As long as we can shorten the queuing time for the first program to less than 50 minutes, the rest will be a quick step-by-step experience.
Additionally, the best way to get to Universal Studios is by subway, which is a convenient and quick way to get to the park's outer entrances once you get off at the Universal Resort Station on Lines 1 and 7. Especially in the afternoon/evening when you return from the game, compared to the far away and easy to fall into the black box of communication of the Internet car parking, the subway advantage is like a downward spiral, must be prioritized.
Then there's the Speedpass
The Speedpass is the official plug-in experience for paid queue jumping, and can be accessed and purchased on the Universal Beijing Resort App. With the U-Speed Pass, even a 150-minute line in the middle of the afternoon can be wrapped up in less than half an hour.
There are two types of UniSpeed passes, a full UniSpeed pass and a single UniSpeed pass. The full program costs 1,000, while the single program ranges from 150 to 225, depending on the popularity of the program, but it's not recommended to buy any of the UniSpeed passes.
Cheap tickets and expensive peripherals are at the heart of every theme park's operating model. So since the core value for money of every theme park is stacked on ticket prices, avoiding shopping and dining in the park becomes a basic necessity for a poor trip to Universal Studios.
And the advice is simple: just don't eat in the park, and since there's no such thing as Disney's infamous bag-search policy, you can rely on bringing your own dry food for your midday meal; with just a few calorie-laden loaves of chocolate bread, you'll comfortably replenish enough biofuel to fight through the afternoon, and save a lot of time waiting for a seat at the park's restaurants.
Drinking water is a straightforward matter of bringing a bottle of mineral water, the rest of the water supply depends on the park's various restrooms essential drinking water points to solve the problem, if it is a family of friends traveling, then additional drinking water equipment is best for the empty bottles of mineral water, minus the weight, that is, to save time.
As for dinner, Universal Studios' hours of operation usually end around 7:30 p.m., except on weekends, so the park's expensive food and drink is obviously still no way to stop you have been slightly hungry and thirsty feet - back to the hotel is lying in bed to order takeout, compared to the park to eat comfortably and cheaply, it does not smell good.
Of course, we really don't need to miss the extra hour of operation and the Harry Potter fireworks display on Saturday just to save a few bucks. If you do need to eat in the park, I recommend the Drifter's Bistro, which is located between the future Water World and Harry Potter areas. A pork rib and corn is $55 (22 years old, to be confirmed in the comments section), and there are extra potato chips to fill you up, which is a relatively good price.
Transformers. The Allspark Scramble. Jurassic World Adventure. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Leap into the Jurassic. The first three of these four projects, belonging to the Universal Studios is the best reputation, the most fun, and known as the "three rides" giant rides. The Leap Jurassic is a "new" project that has been closed for the last year, and because of the demand from a large number of second- and third-time riders, the number of people lining up here is quite impressive.
The first station does not rush Harry Potter, the rest of the time will have to die waiting in line. I play in the park for two days just in time for the Beijing college entrance examination visitors peak period, Harry Potter forbidden tour of the whole day queuing time are more than 100 minutes, the only friendly window of time, but also is to enter the park that all depends on the legs running into the queue of ten minutes. By seizing this opportunity to quickly brush off Harry Potter, you'll be able to shrug off almost a full day's worth of crowds and hit all kinds of time-differentiated queuing shenanigans.
So there's no question that Harry Potter is the only first choice for every player who wants to raid the park quickly. Remember, it's not just the entrance to the park you're walking through, it's the starting line for the Beijing International Folk Marathon! Be sure to aim for the looming spire to your right, pull down your center of gravity with overload, and charge forward with all your might!
And since this is a pre-entry planning exercise, there's one more thing I'd like to explain: Universal Studios is, after all, a theme park, and you're bound to get a better sense of immersion and experience from seeing the original movie. If you really don't have time, you should have seen at least 4 of the following: Transformers 1, Jurassic Park 1, Harry Potter 1, Kung Fu Panda 3. For the author personally, I would also recommend one more movie, The Sound of Joy, to you.
Two, review and strategy
Admittedly, Universal Studios amusement and performance programs are numerous, I two years twice into the park did not all brush net, but all the major amusement and performance programs is to do a not miss even two brush three brush. In fact, when we really review the Universal Studios amusement and performance programs, you will find that its truly irreplaceable, highly stimulating ornamental programs/performances, is no more than the following "eight items".
1, Transformers spark source battle
Project type: ride type railroad car/live interactive 3 d movie
Superior Dee related competitors: Pirates of the Caribbean. Sunken Treasure Battle
Line length: peak season peak about 100 ~ 120 minutes (this strategy queue estimates are based on the worst conditions)
Rail car, live interactive, 3d glasses, plus for the play project tailored to the popular characters of a large Transformers Smash, as the core project of the Transformers base scenic area, the battle for the source of the fire provides As the centerpiece of the Transformers Base scenic area, the Allspark Scramble provides the right amount of thrills and excitement for players to experience in depth.
2, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Project type: ride suspended track seats / live interactive movie.
Superdi related competitors: Pirates of the Caribbean. Battle of the Sunken Treasure.
Line length: about 120~150 minutes in peak season.
As a representative work of Universal Studios, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will bring visitors a dark experience full of magic and thrill. With the perfect sound and wind effects, well-made props and models, and the original cast including Harry, Hermione, and Ron, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is truly worthy of its position as the strongest attraction and the popularity and reputation it has gained around the world over the years, making it one of the business cards of Universal Studios.
3, Jurassic World Adventure
Project type: ride-on railroad car/live interactive movie.
Superdi related competitors: Pirates of the Caribbean. Battle for the Sunken Treasure.
Line length: about 90~120 minutes in peak season.
If the Allspark has the strongest sense of excitement and the Forbidden Journey has the strongest sense of immersion, then Jurassic sits on the most powerful live-action interactive effects in the entire Universal Studios and even in the entire Asian theme parks. Lifelike dinosaur models, vivid dynamic effects, when the Tyrannosaurus Rex really roared at you, the high degree of excitement and sense of reality is absolutely here elsewhere without a unique experience.
4, Decepticons roller coaster
Project type: ride roller coaster.
Superdi related competitors: Tron Extreme Light Wheel.
Line length: about 50~60 minutes in peak season.
It must be said that the Decepticons play experience is still exciting enough, its extremely arrogant catapulted uphill start up can pull your adrenaline full, traveling at the fastest rumored to have reached the level of breaking a hundred, coupled with all the roller coasters have a variety of rotating weightlessness inverted and so on experience, the Decepticons roller coaster can give you the most straightforward and the most real play feeling. Every time you rush out of the body of the diamond devil, is a brave person unforgettable memories.
5, leap Jurassic
Project type: ride coaster.
Superdi related competitors: seven dwarfs mine car.
Line length: about 70~90 minutes in peak season.
As another flagship roller coaster project of Universal Studios, Flying Jurassic's innovation is to greatly enhance the player's experience in the transverse axis dimension - the traditional roller coaster, no matter how much up and down rush left and right swing, the player's field of vision is always forward. The leap Jurassic is relying on the special design of the rail car to achieve the horizontal axis of the direction of the 360-degree rotation, directly to play the degree of freedom to pull up a notch, fly positively, fly upside down, fly forward, fly back to fly, fly side to side. All kinds of flying, all kinds of perspectives, you can think of every kind of posture through the huge fake mountain scenery, really let the player feel the pterodactyl flight like a pleasurable experience.
6, God steal the milk daddy little yellow man haunted
Project type: can be interactive seats / giant screen movie.
Superdee related competitors: soar. Soaring Horizons.
Line length: about 50 to 70 minutes in peak season.
The same interactive seats plus a giant screen movie, you are immediately pulled away from the class level as soon as you compare it to Disney's soaring horizon with its oversized dome screen that is super cool and even has an olfactory experience. As a competitor of Disney, we can clearly see the top-heavy feeling presented by Universal Studios, the rides are more awesome than one, but rafting, interactive movies and roller coasters are not the same weight class of competitors. The upper limit is very high and the lower limit is too low Universal Studios, can be said to be born to make themselves in the audience, and Disney has a gap.
7. Kung Fu Panda. Journey of the Dragon Warrior
Project type: ride-on orbital drift boat/live-action interactive movie.
Superdi related competitors: Thunder Mountain rafting.
Line length: about 50~60 minutes in peak season.
Similar to the three major rides, the Dragon Warrior Tour is a ride experience that interacts with live models and movie plots. In this segment, Universal has been equally generous in bringing us new and original storylines and fine animation, giving Kung Fu Panda fans a must-visit reason just for these storylines that are exclusive only to the park.
That's all that's good about it. As a rafting ride, it's not exciting enough, and the splash level doesn't even require a raincoat if you're sitting in the front row. And as an interactive program, it's not interactive enough, either; the player's entire mission in this program is to see the brand-new dueling scenes between Po and Sky Fury. Immersion comes from participation, and how can you participate when you can't convince yourself to get into the plot?
8: Lighting, Camera, Action
Project type: live action special effects show.
Superdi-related competitors: none.
Line length: about 20 minutes in peak season.
Universal Studios has high hopes for this project, as it is highly innovative in its design perspective and almost impossible to find similar competitors at Disney. Not only did it invite Zhang Yimou and Spielberg to endorse the project, but it also designed a large number of special effects scenes to be presented as a warm-up movie.
And the actual effect is really quite good, the project team in a studio-sized venue to present a variety of real-life stunts, including water flames, hurricane attack, harbor damage, etc., ornamental burst. In particular, the final scene of the cruise ship crashing through the harbor and directly into the audience is really wonderful.
