If you are a novice interior designer, my advice to you is:

First, in order to avoid going astray, we must start with marketing, support our living standard with real business foundation, exercise our design ability and improve our range of friends. After all, interior design is a very grounded industry. Every master you meet, in a sense, is the corresponding master your ability will meet. The higher your ability, the better your customers may be, and the lower your ability, the more customers you may have. This is phased, and the general direction is definitely this trend (even if you go to a big design unit as an assistant, or go to a good platform company as the most common designer, it is because of your ability).

Second, interior design is to eat, but designers who enter the profession first, regardless of the foundation of a particularly good professional school, most of them have very low starting salaries, and their income is mainly earned by themselves. If you don't have a certain level of marketing, you won't even have a chance to install a house for the owner. How to eat to develop? It is impossible to be their assistant and helper all the time. Real skills training needs to be run independently, not by others. No one in this industry will ever give you money in person.

Third, no matter how big a designer is, he also needs hype and packaging, that is, his marketing ability is quite high. For example, Liang Zhitian, Qiu Deguang and so on are too many, or other industries, such as Gree investigating the Oaks air-conditioning incident, Taobao's1.1,and JD.COM. COM's 6. 18 shopping festival is created by marketing to some extent. The basis of marketing is design ability, but it also needs huge funds and energy. Therefore, marketing ability and design ability are interdependent. You should learn to build yourself and let others know your design: 1. You can use the projects that teachers or platforms have participated in, but others generally won't notice you (all by yourself, marketing yourself and boasting yourself); 2. Start your own business independently (this is the most convincing); 3. It is made by the packaging promoted by the company; 4. Spreading through the Internet (it takes time and energy, and also requires certain basic design ability and experience).

1, original designer, case designer, marketing designer, and terms like this are all words created by some training institutions or "tall" design units. Used to express their own high-end: "I originally created others to pay attention to marketing, and my design ability is definitely not good", revealing the taste of discrimination in various industries. Never sit in the right place. They can eat without marketing, and fools believe without taking orders. If you believe it, they will have one less competitor.

2. The relatively unified professional names of interior design in the market are: deepening construction drawing draftsman (designer), master plan (scheme) designer, soft decoration designer, effect drawing draftsman (designer) and so on. You have to find a direction that you are happiest in and stick to it.
